So I find the rating interesting for this school and I have to say I completely disagree. This is the best school my girls have gone to and the support provided to them I didn't see at their previous school. The teachers are amazing and the administration is very involved. They genuinely care about the students and it shows with how happy my kids are attending there. So if you are researching for buying a house in this area I would say go for it.

They deserve a million Star's... Five simple isn't enough. Let me start by saying, when it comes to my children I am very protective and have no problem stating my opinion and always ask questions. Both of my sons started attending Lemm at the beginning of the 2017/18 school year. They are in 2nd and 4th grade and I have nothing but great things to say about them. My second grader has have always struggled in reading and I have fought their prior school (which was in spring ISD) to test him for a learning disability. The others refused to do anything, and seemed to always point fingers at me. For example, they would claim his problem with reading was dure to having too many tardys. Given my child has no behavior issues and tries so hard, it was very disheartening. Let's just say, prior to attending lemm, the struggle was real. Lemm elementary not only took action but they got to the root of my son's problem. Turns out my son has a learning disability called dislexia. Now that we know the problem, we know how to teach him. We feel extremely blessed to be at Lemm. My children are thriving and doing better than they ever have. It's so comforting!

The school’s principal is a scheming and bullying individual who holds grudges and exacts revenge on those she dislikes. Steer away from this woman at all costs.

It's a terrible school. I would not trust that principal alone with a living organism.

I have a feeling that anyone that has a complaint about Lemm has never sat down and talked to the teacher or administrators. They are very open to listening to what we as parents have to say and even though the answer might be no, they will explain why. Parents need to understand that there are hundreds of students there and the decisions must be made for what is best for the entire school. When it comes to decisions about your individual child, I have always seen that they do what is best for that child, not what is convenient for the school/ teachers/ budget, or even what the parents think is best. We need to remember that they are experts at this and trust that they know what they are talking about. I personally trust them with my children and hope to trust them with my grandchildren.

My opinion about the teachers is neutral. We had a few we really had issue with and a few we really liked. My children don't have any special needs so I don't quibble about the teachers that much. We work with the children each night, so we make sure they keep up to speed. The issue I had with the school is the level of professionalism and compassion from the staff. We came to Lemm many years ago from a very warm environment and were surprised by the atmosphere at the school. One of my children had a complete attitude change about school within the first month. We went from begging to go to school on weekends to begging not to go, on a daily basis. I volunteered at the school for a time and never felt welcome. On the few occasions when I would have to visit the school after I decided not to impose by volunteering, I encountered rude staff. The nurse, in particular, was rude in every encounter I had with her. I cannot understand why people would act in such a way in an elementary school. Especially when my tax dollars are used to help pay their salary. In short, it's an average school. Your children will learn, although it may not be in the happiest environment.

My fifth grader (and youngest of 5 kids) just graduated from Lemm and we are broken hearted to leave Lemm.. The teachers are amazing. They treat every child as individuals with different needs and different aspirations. The office staff is the best I have ever worked with. The front office secretary, Mrs. Price, always greets parents with a smile and my husband and I always feel welcomed. Mrs. McGrath is so helpful and it is obvious she loves the children. The administration is top notch! Mrs. Brown runs a tight ship, but in a very respectful way. She is very trustworthy and you can talk to her about anything. Mrs. Steele joined the staff a couple of years ago and I have seen such a difference since she arrived. The administration is much more cohesive and they really seem to enjoy working together. She has brought an energy of great spirit to Lemm. She works with groups of kids and the kids, parents and teachers seem to truly love her. I had several conferences with her last year and this year and she brings a great deal of wisdom to the table on school and parenting. I know that in the future, I will never find administrators like these two.

Lemm has a group of dedicated teachers and staff working hard everyday to help the students excel academically and make right choices. I have two kids attending Lemm and every time I volunteer or visit on the campus, I feel welcomed. The kids here have calm presence and you know they are in good hands. Mrs. Brown, the principal, and her team would do anything for the kids. It is truly a wonderful environment.

I don't know what the last parent was talking about! My three kids have attended Lemm throughout their entire school career. Like most cases, my kids are definitely not perfect. We have had challenges along the way with all three. I ask for advice from the teachers and administration because I know that they are the experts in their fields, and as a parent that is invaluable to me! They are kind, caring and really know their stuff. The decisions are always left to me and my husband, but we have never gone wrong following the advice of the administration or counselor. I have talked to many parents of students in Klein and Spring, and I know from the bottom of my heart that we have our kids in the right school. I was just up there this morning and the entire school was singing and dancing to get their focus on success. The energy is unbelievable and my kids love it! I also love Lemm as do 99% of the other parents here. Don't let the opinion of one unhappy parent steer you away from a wonderful experience. I am sorry for them, but can't help but wonder the "rest of the story"

The teachers are amazing at least the ones I have the pleasure to work with. The issue at hand is the lack of communication skills from the rest of the staff. They are rude, condescending and patronizing and at times they even try to tell you how to raise your own kid. "They know it all" I am sure everyone understand what is like to deal with people like that. If you dare to complain then you better be ready to deal with the issues that will come from that, I had a friend that moved just to change schools and she says it is much better at Kreinhop!! (is no wonder Lemm is not named on the top schools list) not all of us can get up and move. I made the mistake of moving to this area just so my kids could attend this school without doing my research. I recommend to get all the information about the school and speak to other parents if possible, most will tell you the truth.

This is my kids second year at Lemm Elementary. The love it there and so do I. I volunteer whenever I can and the staff and other parents are so nice and caring for the students. The PTO is great with trying the make the school better and spoiling the teachers whenever they can. Both Principal Brown and Steele are awesome and caring for the students. I am currently trying to become a teacher and hope I can get a job at Lemm and join the wonderful staff. You know it is a good school when a lot of the teachers have been there forever.

I am a new teacher at Lemm Elementary and found it to be the best school I have ever taught at. The administration is amazing, the teachers are caring and extremely hard workers, and the parents are really involved with the school. I am honored to teach with such a great staff and administration.

My family and I have been at Lemm for seven years now. Each of my three children have been fortunate to have teachers who care about their students and truly help them when they may need a little extra help. The administrative staff strive to get their students to be as successful as they can. They encourage the students, make them feel welcome and provide a safe environment. Our family appreciates the family functions put on by Lemm and we volunteer to be there for our children as well as the other students.

I have been a Lemm parent going on the 6th year and I just appreciate how much the principal and the teachers do CARE. They are dedicated educators and I am counting it a blessing that both of my children are progressing at the level they should be. The principal has an open door policy and each time if a parent has to talk to her, she will stop whatever she is doing and listen to what the parent has to say. The teachers are just phenomenal and well prepared for the subjects. I can't say enough good things about Lemm and thanks to its teachers and staff, I don't have to send my kids to private school!

I work for Lemm and if I didn't think it was a good school I would not still be here. We work hard and our students do too. We appreciate our leadership and we think Lemm should win because we know for a fact that the funds will be used to the best educational needs of every child!

Lemm Elementary is amazing! I am a former teacher and have taught in several schools. Lemm by far has been the most impressive. Every teacher and administrator is dedicated to the learning and safety of their students. I believe that Lemm Elementary could improve if every student had their own laptop to utilize during school hours.
