This daycare is awful.Over the years I've noticed the lack humanity. They know that they're the only option for families struggling or single mothers.I've witnessed them bad mouthing a special needs child on how no other place would take her and how no one will be able to handle her because she's so bad. She's special needs, work with her and I shouldn't know your opinions on the child. They treat kids awful if they're upset with the parents. If I've paid you for services whether it be field trips or weekly payments there should be no reason to take your personal opinions and emotions out on my child. My child tells me how other children have called her names hit her or have scratched her. The teachers don't care for that matter. They have no respect for the people that take their children there. You're nothing but a problem to them and you will be gossiped about later on that day. i believe some of their restrictions and guidelines are against Child Care Law.If you're in dire need and you have NO ONE else to turn to take your child there and know that these people aren't afraid to yell at you tell you off or even talk about you while EVERYONE and ANYONE is around!

Don't waste your money. The only reason my child attend here is the 24 hour part. Yes, I am a bad parent for knowingly sending my child to a ghetto, unprofessional place but money issues prevents me from other quality choice. If you have a choice, by all means go somewhere else.

I have two children that attend this daycare and I have mixed feelings about it. I do not think every staff member should be dealing with the kids but I don't make the guidelines on who gets certified to work at daycares. The principle is very distant and once you confront her about one issue, she tries to avoid you. Her mother, who works in the front office, has an opinion on everyone that walks through the door. Sometimes the teachers do not know how many children they have in their room, which is a violation (one they have recieved before also). All in all, their academic program is pretty good but they have room for major improvement. I do have a copy of the child care minimum standards to review their practices.

My review of OAKDALE is GREAT! Very clean, postive, and caring daycare/private school...... I have (3) grandkids that attend this school and they along with myself LOVE IT! To the person the spoke of them being "GETTO" (you MUST have some "GETTO in YOU" to ever know what GETTO is! . Bachelors and masters degree???? hummmmm... You don't need them( Oakdale) anyway.... you have the degrees and make plenty of money...(I know you have a PRIVATE teacher that comes to "YOUR" mansion:) just for "your" kids;) lol

My child has attended this school since she was 3 years old. She is now 9. Not only are the teachers friendly and caring but they truly love your kids. And my child feeling welcome and loved is very important to me. They teach a wonderful christian curriculum (ABEKA) that not only feeds their mind but their souls too! Because of the hard work of their teachers my child has tested for the gifted and talented program for Spring. She has also learned so many stories from God's Word and memorized many verses. Unfortunately, they only go to second grade but my child still attends their after school and summer program. They have an awesome summer program with fun crafts and great field trips!! I would highly recommend this school as an alternative to public.

My child attended this school and I withdrew because of the staff's unprofessionalism, my experiences with the staff, and how they treated me and my child. Several times I have heard the younger staff, including the morning, afternoon, and after school managers speaking of their personal drama lives, negatively speaking of students' parents, their jobs, and students while in the front lobby area. Some of the staff members should keep in mind that they are working in a "private school and daycare", and should leave their "ghetto attitudes and mentality" at home. I am a professional worker with a bachelors and masters degree, and when some of the staff spoke to me as if I was "ghetto" like them, I knew it was time for me to complain to someone with professionalism that was not at the daycare. Oakdale should revamp their unprofessional staff members and invest in professional workers that don't have, and express, their "ghetto mentalities and attitudes" when a parent comes to them, in a professional manner, with a complaint. I would never refer this school to anyone after my experiences with Oakdale.

The Mangers/Owner at this school is not connected with the kids or parents what so every. They just look and do not speak. Maybe it because most of their customers are receiving government assistance, and they do not need to earn new students. The school has GREAT Teachers and Staff. That will be my only recommendation.

My daughter has been going to Oakdale for several months now and I only have wonderful comments to make. From the front office staff to the teachers, it is a great place to attend. I enjoy the fact that the teachers are very involved with the parents regarding progress and behavior. They are constantly doing arts/craft and fun activities for the kids. I would DEFINITELY recommend this school/daycare to all parents...plus the fact that the hours are extremely flexible makes this school perfect for me. The only complaint I have is that this school only teaches to the 2nd grade....I wish it were more.

I read the reviews and wanted to call to receive information about the school but the person that answered the phone was very rude and short. If that is any indication of the staff there I would not want to send my son there.
