    Our family moved from the North View school district (Amazing) to the Sparta school district. (Even more amazing) The teachers and administration are outstanding! The faculty truly try to discover each student's individual talents and capitalize on those talents. The focus is on learning, building self-esteem and fostering an acceptance of each other. Our family moved in the middle of the school year, a sometimes tough transition point. Fellow students and teachers made my boys feel at home very quickly. The level of communication from school to home, is by far the best that I have ever experienced. We had the option to choose Rockford Public through the school of choice program. We will not be pursuing this option. Rockford does have a great program, but my wife and I have been blown away by the highly talented teachers and focused leadership at Sparta schools. A smaller school also gives our boys the ability to be more active in extracurricular activities like football, baseball, band etc.. The larger the school the more challenging it can be to qualify for an active spot in almost everything. Sparta is running a well designed student and parent friendly program!
