Surprised at the current grade overall school grade, but our overall experience has been great! Teachers communicate great with caring parents. Our kids love their teachers. The Principal is great. My 11 yr old did great there and my 8 yr old is also performing great. I speak with their teachers all the time. Great with Dojo on 4th grade. Highly recommend but stay involved.

My son has been at MacAfee for 2 years now and absolutely loves it. His teachers are very good with communication.

Since Pre-k my little boy has had excellent academic experiences by teachers who truly care about him and the other students. Also, other staff members have shown nothing but concern and care for the students, the school, the parents and the community as a whole.

Plus side of MacAfee Elementary School is that it equipped with high tech system, has decent library and indoor gym, cafeteria, offers AM Care and have well versed teachers focusing to chalenge each student to higher level. Negative side of the school is that management organizes many activities have no education value for student but raise small fund.Such as constantly advertise and encourage parents to take kids to fast food restaurant so that portion of the money spent there go to school. School does not communicate exam results online and everything is paper based. Overall, I gave average rating since it has good staffing and equipment.

Overall, I am satisfied with the school, teachers and principal. I have 2 children currently enrolled. The older one hasn't had any issues with the teachers or the students. The only issue with his class last year was that NO one volunteered to be a class parent. At the lower grades, there seemed to be more parent involvement. The younger one just finished kindergarten. The only complaint I have is that he was injured at school by another child and I didn't get a call or email from the school nurse or teacher informing me of the injury. (It was a minor injury, but I would have liked to receive a call anyway!)

I LOVE MACAFEE!!!!! The teachers are incredible. Spend just an hour in their shoes and you will greatly appreciate all that they do. I have 3 childrend currently at this school. My PreK student loves going to Mrs Ortega's class in the afternoon (she is incredibly patient and is preparing them for full time learning). My 1st grader is in Ms Bent's class, she goes above and beyond just teaching at the school, she also treats all her students as individuals with respect. My 2nd grader is in Mrs Hurd's class, she is incredible and will always keeps me posted on my son's progress. The school nurse Mrs Goldstein showed me and filed the paperwork needed to get my daughter home instruction. She is very attentive to the children's health needs and keeps me aware of the visits my children make to her office. Mr Grippo the principal has a wonderful staffe. The school cares for each and every child there. HAVE I SAID ENOUGH, I LOVE MACAFEE!!!!!
