This is a great school because it has 2T and unlike some schools have 3T but 2T is better to get grades in.

Franklin Township Schools in Franklin Park NJ are the worse schools that you could ever send your children to! The neighborhoods in this area are beautiful.. but don’t let the nice landscaping fool you! The middle school has had over 50 fights this year alone...3 in which my son was attacked for no reason at all! The administrators have no control whatsoever! I have contacted the school board regarding several issues in the Elementary and Middle schools and I have yet to receive a phone call from them! Yesterday my son was threatened by a little girl, informing him that he would get jumped on by about 20 guys.These children at this school do nothing but fight. I was told by an administrator that he could not attend to the situation with son because there was another fight going on at the same time!! I’m fed up! My children will be leaving this school immediately!! The worse!!!

I have a 7th grader at FMS and he goes and comes back home each day to and from school with a smile, a yearning to learn, loved the staff, student, and administration. We are glad we chose FMS as the middle school and look forward to our younger son having the same amazing experience in a few years. I am an an active PTO parent and I have personal experience that the staff and administration is very cooperative and are excellent examples of leaders of the school.

FMS is a very caring and pro-student environment. The teachers, staff, and administration are professional and strive to make the school safe and to provide the best academics!

The teachers who wrote the reviews dated in April 2014 appear not to have worked at the same school I did. Teachers are great for the most part and have high expectations for their students. Teachers would be a lot more successful if the school had a supportive administration, especially a principal that treated staff with respect and handled disciplinary issues in an expedient and befitting way.

my school has implemented new programs to get the students to be more successful in math. They have programs within school and after school for all children. My school has dedicated teachers that put the children first and prepares them well for the grades ahead.

I think that Franklin Middle School is a great school, but does not get the positive press that it deserves. There are many great things that our students, teachers and administrators are doing everyday that is not showcased by the local media. I think that if people came to see for themselves how good a school it is, they would agree! The school is safe and provides a host of activities for students to participate in. It's diversity is unique and is the driving force that makes this school a great place for our students to learn and grow.
