My son has had an excellent elementary school experience at Forcey Christian School from Kindergarten. During the COVID-19 pandemic to now, the teachers have demonstrated care and concern for myself and my Forcey student. As a current third grader, my son has homework in each subject, feedback is given in a timely manner, and school staff quickly respond to emails. The excellent teaching staff and school nurse have responded quickly and checked in while students are on quarantine. The school has maintained communication during the pandemic and continues to give updates as needed. Forcey has been a great option for my son. He is learning and loves his past and present teachers.

Up through 4th grade went well. Upper elementary school was not a great experience. The teachers felt unprepared to handle behavior challenges which come with puberty. I believe some of the problems with dealing with school behavior and norms are because the teachers are in the Christian bubble which can also result in victim blaming and dismissing the damage done by the child engaging in the negative behavior. When my child had their private parts exposed by a student 'accidentally' - I was not made aware by the administration. When my child was threatened by a student with a history of school violence, I was not told. When I reported student on-line bullying during the school day, the administration did not acknowledge my concerns. I feel sad to have had a negative experience for the later grades which was in contrast to my earlier experience. The young grades were wonderful with teachers who truly love the kids. During those years the administration acted with an abundant spirit of cooperation; the change in administration was when I became dissatisfied. I am still in contact with many teachers at Forcey as there are many good teachers there. In my opinion, children are pushed academically and do learn a lot. It is a decent school alternative to local public elementary and middle schools and if you are an evangelical Christian, it may be the right fit. If you are a progressive Christian, you may be disappointed with the spirit cultivated at Forcey. Many parents are friends after their time at Forcey ends. Children leave the school able to think critically, argue effectively, and to write well. Forcey is best suited for children who are normal learners; not very high achievers and not kids with learning differences.

Quite a good experience. Have more than one child who has attended.

This year Forcey is a great disappointment. Many parents stayed in hopes that the changes in administration would even out after a few years, however, the quality of education has quickly declined. The board has made it clear that parent input is unwanted and not valued. The current administration is ineffective. Poor choices by the board, which is from the church that does not reflect the school community.

My son and daughter are going Forecy. They both like the teachers and the atmosphere of the school. The teacher works closely with parents.

I went to this school from pre-school to 1st grade so I don't remember much, but I do remember I made a lot of friends and a lot of memories that I might have forgotten, but thanks to my mom who took a lot of pictures when I was little, I can remember being happy at the school.

Seriously, sending our kids to Forcey was maybe the biggest mistake we made as parents to our two girls. Our oldest was bullied by teacher and students. A teacher told our daughter she would never amount to anything and the administration supported the teacher. We met with all her teachers in one large conference an no one spoke up to condem the behavior. To this day my daughter believes Forcey was the worst experience of her life. Legalistic, with teachers who have limited professional degrees. This highly dogmatic school reinforces a paradigm that is was not healthy for either of our daughters. Very sad.

As a recent graduate of the school, I have to say that I have LOVED my experiences here at this school! The strong academic curriculum the school has, has taught me things above my grade level. I was also accepted into 3 of some of the best high school programs in my county. Besides academics, I believe Forcey has made me a more well-rounded person and has brought me closer to God. I cannot thank the staff and faculty at Forcey enough for my wonderful experiences over the years.

My school provides an opportunity for students to grow spiritually and emotionally under the guidance of experienced teachers. The atmosphere of the school is refreshing and family oriented. We have students from countries all over the world that join together to learn in an environment that provides challenging academics and spiritual growth. I am blessed to be a part of this school.

If you are looking for a christian education with a solid academic cirriculum...Forcey is the School. The teachers and administration work in unison with the students and parents. It's a caring and nurturing enviornment that brings out the best in your child.

I believe the school does a fabulous job! I have a student currently in 4th grade and my child has had the opportunity to experience all three of the teachers. All three teachers do a fabulous job! My experience with all Forcey staff members has been great. They are all very attentive and care deeply about the well-being of the students.

This school would be so much better if the teachers with poor performance records got the boot. I'm thinking of a 4th grade teacher, who does not do well with children. No inspiration to teach and no interest in your child's performance. She just collects a pay check. If your child is on his or her way to the 4th grade, and you happen to get this teacher, hire a tutor immediately! You will know this teacher because your child will never have homework.

My child just completed his elementary level education @ Forcey and I have been satisfied with his 3rdand 4th grade teachers but not with his 5th grade teacher. I had a very unfortunate experience at practically the end of this school year. My son did not turn in a major assignment which was due in increments. The teacher alerted me 5 days after the due date for the "complete" project; when asked why I was not communicated with sooner like after the instalments were missing I got no answer. I tried to see the principal but got the brush. That teacher needs retraining how to engage children to get to the root of issues.

My daughter loves middle school! My elementary-aged son doesn't want to go anywhere else! That says it all. It is the best value I know of.

Beware of the second grade teacher who is truly incompetent. Just ask several parents in each second grade class and you will soon discover who this teacher is.
