Great! I love the small atmosphere, faculty and staff get to know the students. They work with parents to involve them. They have a mini "pep rally" for lack of a better word to get the kids ready for the day. This school has just as much potential and opportunity for the students as any other school. I know, bc I have a child here. I CHOOSE to send my child here for many reasons. Why would we send our kids to a school that will set them up for failure. Think about it.I agree with other parents about bullying in Campbell county will affect them, and they will lose their voice. There is no reason to merge, WE don't want to, THE TAXPAYERS WITH NO KIDS IN THE SCHOOL want them to. Let us parents decide for our children. It's not in their best interest to merge, it will throw them into shock, they aren't used to a big school atmosphere. It's ridiculous, we have a school right here. The school has improved alot since our new superintendent took over and continues to improve. It's very upsetting.

i love this school its small, its family, and its growing. this school does not need to merge with campbell county because the voice of our SG kids will be lost and if you think bullying is bad just wait and see

This school is a real gem! I choose to send my children to this school. There is a lot of misinformation out there. Get your facts, come visit the school, talk with the staff and parents and the kids. It Find out for yourself what a special place this is. A nurturing and SAFE environment for children to learn and grow.Express their uniqueness with out ridicule. This school has come leaps and bounds I'm proud to say that my children attend Silver Grove and recommend it to anyone looking for a more that a school but a home away from home.

Worst school ever, there’s no programs, they allow bullying, worst school ever! Glad I moved away from here!!! Seriously I have friends whose kids go here and their wanting out as well, hope it closes and soon!

Who ever came on this site and said its a good place is not living in Silver Grove. The Teachers dress and act like the students. there are no Role Models for the students. I wish I could afford to pay for my kids to go to Campbell County. I was told If the school fails at state testing kids could go to another school. Im call local new stations to get this put out there they we are sick of POOR state testing we want our kids in a better school and its not Silver Grove!

This school is awful! So awful that the principle of the school took his own child out! This school should be closed!! When you compare rating to other schools you realize how bad the school really is... Also look at the teacher turn over rate... We have been in this school district for 2 years and I have seen so many teachers leave. Not good! If I could rate a zero I would! So our kids a favor and shut the school down!

This is the 2012-2013 and Silver Grove School is still ranked second from the bottom of public schools in Kentucky . From the first review in 2007 it still hasn't seen any improvement. How much longer can the children in this town suffer from a school that shows no improvement? The tax rate is one of the highest paid to a public school. There are numerous homes for sale in this small town that are not moving because of the high tax rate and poor school performance. No young couple wants to buy because of these factors. Who wants to pay high taxes to a failing school? The small town where everyone knows everybody is great, but do you really want to sacrafice your childs education for that?

Silver Grove continues to cut everything while raising the community's taxes to the highest in the state. The performance is one of the lowest in the state. The extracurricular activities are almost non-existent. There are no clubs, AP classes in the High School, Music, travel is almost gone, our second grade teacher was cut and discipline is out of control because of the kids that are basically left to their own devises at home. Nearly everyone that can afford to pay tuition sends their kids to other schools including the staff.

It is small. Excellent teacher student ratio. Its easy to be involved as a parent, and the teachers are excellent. Both of my children attended Silver Grove PK-12. They had a great experience and received a great education. They were able to play any sport they wanted. It's a great small town to live in and grow up in, and its safe.
