My grandson is doing exceptionally well at Erial. In fact, he is reading above grade level and is in the gifted program. As a former principal, I feel strongly that Erial has great teachers and very competent administrators in a safe, student centered environment. I also appreciate the staff at the latchkey program. It takes a dedicated staff, caring parents and a committed community to foster success in our schools.

My children are doing great at this school. I am a very active member of the PTC. There are many teachers who show a lot of love and support for these children.

Never again! If you care about your child find another school.

I would give this negative reviews Erial Elementary doesn't deserve the one star that has to be given. Bullying is a big problem here and the HIB investigations never show anything apparently. God forbid their school gets dinged because it is happening. My child unfortunately is too scared to hit back but man I wish she wasn't. Many people I have talked to took their children out of this school for the same reasons. I warn you do not send your child here whatever you do. You will have nothing but hypertension and disbelief that a school that has your child 5 days a week could have such little regard for your child. God forbid your child is a victim they do NOTHING to make your child feel safe. They keep your child around the kids that are bullying them and basically say you have to deal with it because we can't do anything else. That's all I ever hear they can't do anything. For all the children they "can't" do anything for especially those with documented disabilities then they should be obligated to transfer those students that they can't protect to a school that can accommodate them. This school blows big time. Just consider this a fair warning.

Very hard to accommodate children with learning disabilities.

My daughter is blossoming at Erial elementary. The teachers are dedicated and really push for academic growth while at the same time attentive to individual needs. New principal has set very high standards for the staff and students and seems committed to succeed. One of my daughter 'a classmates temporarily transferred to another district and found she was way ahead academically due to Erial's standards. I am very impressed with the school so far!

Not impressed by the principle at all! If you have an issue and try to speak with him, he pushes the parent off to the assistant principle. The assistant principle is absolutely wonderful and very friendly. Too bad he can't be principle. My other concern is NOT one staff member monitors the children's safety when school let's out. Maybe once a week the principle will stand outside. The principle needs to be more involve and get to know the students better.
