As we close out another school year, I felt it necessary to give you my honest opinion of King's Schools. I have two kids in the school and we receive financial aid to attend. Both of my kids love their teachers and are involved in several activities like robotics club that we couldn't find elsewhere. We struggled when we moved to the area - we didn't know anyone. Being at King's has helped us get connected into the community and I've found friends here.

I can't imagine sending my kids anywhere else. When the pandemic struck and our kids were sent home from public school, they struggled to keep up. The following year, we enrolled them in King's elementary - what a difference it's made! The kids love their teachers and the many projects they get to participate in. They've made close friends - and we've become friends with those families. The community makes the difference.

We LOVE King's! This is our daughter's first year at King's and she loves her teachers. She also loves the creative events the school has -- she gets a chance to interact with kids older than she is. It's been a great experience this year and we're looking forward to next year!

Great school! We've had our son at King's for three years now. In his previous school, he struggled to connect with the teachers and in the classroom. He had a learning disability and we couldn't figure out why he disliked school so much. At King's, he got the one-on-one help he needed. Love the teachers and how passionate they are to help. I highly recommend King's!

My child started at Kings during the pandemic (2020) as our public school offered no in-person learning and Kings did. I can not say enough good things about the teachers, culture, families, and students at Kings. My child has expanded their connection to God in ways I never would have expected. This school is not for everyone. If you want an education for your child that includes Christianity in their education, you will love Kings. If you don’t, look at other options. I wasn’t sure about everything when we started but given how little education was happening during the pandemic at our public school, we felt it was worth changing schools. The sports and coaches are also incredible at Kings. Students are so welcoming to new students. It is so different from our experience in pubic school.

If you think schools should be teaching vulnerable young students that Homosexuality is unnatural and the result of being separated from God, then this is your school. If your kid is a bully or has anger management issues and you don't want to address the why and help them change but would rather make big donations to a school so your child could continue to just be themselves, then this is your school. If you want to attend a school where students write "Whites only" over water fountains and when the only black teacher has her husband come talk to the students about why this is wrong, parents complain about making a big deal of racism, then this is your school. If your child has, or might someday be diagnosed with, learning difficulties such as dyslexia and you want to pay 1000s for extra tutoring by teachers and tutors unqualified and unable to help your child ever feel like a successful learner, then this is the school for you. However, if you want your children to have a rich academic education taught by highly qualified educators in a safe, kind and compassionate environment that strives to provide equitable learning opportunities to all students.....then this is NOT your school. The number one thing you hear again and again from parents who pull their kids from Kings is that their kids enjoy school and learning now, that the quality of teachers is better and that any kid in a minority finally feels safe. There are so many better options for schools out there, don't get sucked into this place.

We started our child at the preschool and we planned to be a King's family for 13+ years. After the announcement by leadership in 2019, we transferred to a public school. Other parents have adequately addressed that situation here, but my 1* review is in large part to the change in my child after we left. They became happy! School was enjoyable! I received positive feedback on schoolwork and behavior from their teachers. This NEVER happened at King's. They might've prayed for my child, but they did not care for my child.

In the past three years our child had very caring teachers that worked very hard to provide a well rounded educational experience. The Principal at the school gave structure and worked hard to create a safe environment for teachers, staff, students and their families. This year with the change in leadership and the recent clarity of the school's core values caring teachers have left, families have unenrolled, board members have left and the school climate has changed. A division in the school community has been created. We decided we could not support an organization that taught such a narrow view of the world and condoned the marginalization of specific groups of people so we enrolled our child in another school. The school had a wonderful learning environment but with the new leadership it is not a place I would recommend.

Kings has had a great reputation and there are many fine people associated with the school - students, alum, teachers etc. However, with the recent change in leadership at the head-office (CRISTA) a new hard line has been drawn that does not allow teachers to share their personal beliefs if they are not inline with the "historical biblical worldview" (whatever that is) that the CEO and the board have put forth. There seems to be an attempt to move it from being an inter-denominational community with diverse Christian views, to one that is quite conservative. This will be fine for some families, but all families should know this in advance of enrolling.

The recent leadership change is very sad, most of the teachers are amazing, but the new leader wants to rid any help or support for LGBTQ kids. Very scary, buyer beware!!!!

Kings is no longer a loving school where everyone is accepted. I would not send my kids here at this time.

My son loves going to school. He feels connected to his teacher, peers, and support staff. It is truly a learning community full of love and support for both academic and social-emotional growth.

This school has an amazing amount of resources for the children and the parents. I appreciate the communication from all levels (administration to teachers, etc). It is an incredibly safe and wonderful environment for my children to learn and grow!

It is alway privilege to be part of this caring and nurturing school. You can always rest assured and feel safe on your child as the teachers and staff at king's show thier at most committment towards the success of student. The committment of the teachers and school leaders is geared towards educational level enhancement and confidence building where one will notice the strong bondage between the teachers and students. Be at King's and build your kids future.

Every day King's displays the four pillars of what they represent: Academic Excellence, Christian Commitment, Caring Community and Rich Heritage. You can see how that plays out through the staff, parents, students and alumni. Every time I'm on campus or at a school function I am always amazed at how all of the staff at King's (preschool- high school) is committed to each student's success in academics, their Christian faith and preparing them for life after high school. Our children are thriving, our family is truly blessed and grateful to be part of such a nurturing community. Thank you, Kings!!!
