I have had 2 children attend Sharon School from k through 8. 1 is in college, 1 is a junior in high school now. They are both on the honor roll, members of the national honor society. And on the Dean's list. We have had nothing but good experiences with Sharon Community School. It's the heart of the community.My wife has been working there for many years in the day care.

I am a current student at Sharon. I have attended since I was a toddler. My experience has not been the best. My mother is a teacher there, and we both agree that the school is a wonderful place for students with mental difficulties, but anyone who is advanced or even just slightly over average is not being pushed to their full potential. I think that teaching styles lack challenge. Also, in my opinion, the staff doesn't do a very good job of dealing with issues between students. They are passive when it comes to punishment and leave most of it to the parents. I think they need to be more aggresive when it comes to disiplining students, since trying to "talk" it out is obviously not doing the trick.
