Our experience has been exceptional. I have had three kids in this school and feel they have revived a top notch education.

I had two children that attended Red Oak since Kindergarten and were very sad when we relocated. They have some amazing & caring teachers that really do care for their students. The teachers do a wonderful job communicating with the parents from my experience, never had issues. My kids miss this school and all their teachers.

Last year was my son's first school year in usa. He was supported warmly and delightly by his 3rd grade teacher and ESL teacher. He becomes more confidence and active. Each Friday, his teacher sent a Weekly Line-up that showed what her students were learned at school and subjects next week as well as next events in schools. Parents could discuss with teacher via email. She always made me impressed by her prompt reply. Thanks for Weekly Line-up, we could catch up my son's development. The fact that he loves going to school each day and talks about his teachers proudly made us happy when choosing Red Oak.

My grandchildren have gone to red oak for two years. In that time as a volunteer and an active part of there lives, I have seen their wonderful teachers guide and teach them with patience and understanding. We communicate with each other, when any kind of situation has happened, so we can then resolve it in a healthy way. I would say that an improvement could be made in the screening of the substitute teacher in the younger grades, (first grade primarily). Everyone has been so helpful and supportive, from the gals in the office, to the teachers and most of the substitute teachers. It is a real pleasure to work with Mrs. Ruegg and Mrs. Dahl, two very fine teachers. You can easily see that they enjoy their work! This has been a great start to my grandchildren's education.

My daughter has gone to Red Oak since kindergarten. She is now a 5th grader and in her last year. The teachers and staff have been nothing but amazing since day one. My daughter has thrived both socially and academically and I give so much of the credit to the exceptional education that she has received at Red Oak.

My daughter is very lucky to go to this school. Her teacher Mrs Julie Dahl is AMAZING. My daughter learned a lot. And my husband and I are very satisfied of what she's done. She's very good in communicating with the parents through emails and notes. She's my daughters teacher 1st and 2nd grade. My daughter love her and the school. Great school to go to...

Red Oak is an excellent place to go through elementary school. I had 2 kids get a decent education. The one thing I do not agree with is looping. if you get stuck with a bad teacher and you don't want to change the "mixup" of the class, you could have 2 bad years, like my daughter did. Her teacher was self absorbed and it wasn't until that was over that my daugher excelled with another teacher.

I'm so sorry but this school is no where near a great school. Teachers brag about how annoying kids are. They do not have any accountability for the way they treat students or parents. One teacher was boasting that she gets served a law suit from at least one parent every year. Please! Another teacher told our family directly that my son was lazy and reminded her of her own lazy son. REALLY? He was in 4th grade! She continued to fail him on nearly every assignment even if answers where correct saying his numbers where not styled to her liking or some other excuse. My son could barely read or write coming out of this school. I do have to say there are a very small handful of good teachers at this location such as Mrs. Erickson who was an amazing kind and supportive teacher to every student. The Principal is a kind nurturing man but cannot make up for a bad staff. We are now in a different state and at an amazing high end supportive public school and my son is well on his way to a top college for pre-med. If you are thinking about moving to the twin cities area consider other suburbs such as Edina or Minnetonka if schools are a concern.
