Amazing preparation for future goals. As Freshman in college both of my kids transitioned easily .The staff at prep is like family. They genuinely care about your child, providing an excellent education while instilling virtues.

Working at this school as a cleaner is okay. However, I feel like the staff looks at you diminishingly even though you are just doing your job. I don't see much diversity in the staff at all, which is strange for the school's area. Don't get me wrong, some of the staff is awesome, amazing, and very welcoming, but not all. The building has a ton of problems with leaks and brown water coming from the water pipes. Also, some parts of the school are fancier than others which shows where the funding is going... I hope some changes will come in the coming years, but my review will stay the same if nothing changes.

I’m in my junior year already and I can’t believe it’s almost over. I’m gonna miss this so much. I love prep.

Compliments from a former student, Prep gained its name for a reason. Each and every student, whether their experience good, great or bad, GRADUATES Prep a better person altogether. My experience, clouded by adolescent rage and folly, was indeed excellent. To all of my fantastic professors, whom I am most indebted, I thank you for the pure and unbiased lessons you have taught me. What's most clear is my inability to have seen the good when it was right in front of me. Born for a Higher Things. John Barry Walsh

To "a student": it is crystal clear you are not a Prep student. Your grammatical sentence structure and choice of simplistic vocabulary certainly indicate a public school education.

I was not a student of Prep, but after sharing a classroom with many Scranton Prep students at the collegiate level, the superior educations and college prepatory skills they received there were quite evident. The ease of transition into college level class work was something to be proud of, and their personal discipline far trumped that of even the highest graduates of other local public schools. I speak as a former valedictorian of my local public school, I was envious of the readiness and preparedness the Scranton Prep students had over my peers and I.

Can everybody just stop saying that this is the best in the area because I and some other people in my class hated it here and we think its the worst.Every time we went here we couldnt wait until the second we walked out of the building. We left Prep and we transferred to Scranton High and it is so much better. People think Prep is such a great school but it is not. They just think its a good school because they wear uniforms and that its just so expensive but its a waste of money and the curriculum is pretty bad. The graduation percent is very low and they think that they are better than the other schools in this area because the other schools in this area are very good. My other friend transferred to Riverside and thats a great school. So if you are thinking to send your child here its a huge mistake

My daughter went to this school and she performed very poorly and she did not get the help that she needed. The discipline and the negative things got her attention and the teacher wouldn't do anything to prevent that from happening. And it lacks school spirit. How ashame. I am appalled at how bad this school has been and how downhill this school has been going. I will never send any of my children to this school again and I switched my daughter to West Scranton and it is going better for her. Don't send your child here

First able this school is actually more focused on discipline more than graduation and work. And on the other hand I dont know why people think this school is so good because it's not . I left in the beginning of freshman year because alot of big problems were happening. I couldn't take the classes I was gonna take and it got out of hand. So because of the many problems that were happening to me in this school I transferred to Riverside. And since I left from Prep to Riverside I am able to take classes like Marketing, Economics, Engineering, etc. So dont transfer your child to Prep. You would be better off sending you child to public
