Every school has its down falls. This school is not as bad as compared to some schenectady schools. It also has a lot to do with the parenting. You don't teach you kid right from wrong you will have a school full of hell, if so you will be ok. I never had any serious issues with this school and my kids seem to enjoy learning there.

I havent had a problem with talking to any teacher about my child and their progress and any help they might need. You also have to take initiative to want to know and help your child and be a parent. I have never had a problem talking to the principle about any concerns. They all work hard, however, its also hard to teach without interruption when they have to stop in the middle of lessons to deal with situations. The school welcomes parents in the classroom anytime to volunteer or to just be there for a day. I think the school is just fine, its not perfect, but no school is. Every school can use improvement in areas. I would expect it to be difficult to give individual attention to student when there's only one teacher and 25 children. If there is complaints about that, well learning also comes from home, some parents should think about that before they go blaming the school. You also have to be involved with the child and teach them good values and respect at home. Remember its a learning institution- the teachers and the principal are not their parents- do your job as a parent with your child and they can do theirs.

This school is a nightmare do not think that they are there for your child not at all the teachers no that they r teaching in a low proverty area so some of them r not teaching to the highest that they suppose to. I feel a teacher should not get paid if her students r not passing. If u kiss up to them then they work with u. But again if u r educated like them and expressed on how they r teaching may not be the right way for your child that's when they have an issue with the parents.
