Paige Elementary is a place where I’ve witnessed, firsthand, a cultivation of love and genius. Dr. Jean-Pierre’s vision of creating a collaborative and cooperative school community is becoming a reality each year despite challenges. All families, every parent, student, and staff member counts. Not only is it inspiring to observe students’ learning but, at the same time, educators learning from their students. Overall, how they learn. What’s working is a growth mindset that’s geared towards how we all can improve in establishing a school environment that is engaging educationally & conducive to learning. I’m proud to be a part of the Paige Panda Family and SCSD that is thriving together towards academic excellence!

The principal and staff are amazing and doing a great job raising responsible citizens. The classrooms are filled with love and compassion for one another. They’ve painted parts of the front entrance vibrant colors, always have guest speakers/entertainers and after school programs. The staff do an amazing job of teaching our kids based on what they have. The books have been switched out and are more up to date. The only thing that needs to change is the Schenectady curriculum which they are currently working on. This is a top not school. Thank you Dr. Jean Pierre

So far I am very pleased with what my son has achieved through his first years at Paige. Now he'll start third grade, his math and reading level was over that 7 months before. We've had opportunity to meet the teachers and principal on the multiple events carried out through the years and I still haven't met one that doesn't care about the kids and teaching. My hats off to Mrs. Newcomb and Mr. Pettingill, my son's previous teachers, which in my opinion have placed my second son in a better position up to third grade compared to my first son, which just started studying in Duke University. So the future is bright thanks to them, the principal, and all the kind staff that supports them. Thanks.

My daughter attended this school and we pulled her out. There are swear words scrawled all over the playground, kids from stuggling families who have never picked up a book and cannot act appropriately in school. All my daughter talked about when she came home was who mis-behaved, and came home with stacks and stacks of unimaginative worksheets as her work.
