Just agreeing to the two reviews from 2022 that all those things happened and much worse. DO NOT HAVE YOUR CHILDREN GO TO THIS SCHOOL until they have a new principal and teachers!

What a pathetic excuse for a “charter school.” Multiple students were leaving campus because they’ve received death threats, bullying, and sexual harassment. None of the staff does anything about it and labels it as “ drama.” My child has complained to me that the teachers are lazy and they never learn anything in class, but instead of learning, they talk about inappropriate topics that teachers shouldn’t teach. There have been multiple times we’re my student has completed their assignments and turned them in on time, but the teacher said they lost the assignment, which caused my child’s grades to fall back drastically. There have been many student complaints that the principal favorites them and doesn’t treat them with respect. Michelle Franci, the principal, has handled situations irresponsibly and sexist, which has resulted in students leaving the school while the students who were causing harm able to get away with it. When consulted with a problem, she doesn’t act like a principal but a lazy person who doesn’t want to deal with it. There have been many fights, drug usage, sexual harassment, bullying, and threats. The school does not provide a safe environment for your children. Do the right and safe choice, and DO NOT enroll your child into this horrific school.

In one school year two physical Education teacher have quit. many students get into fights and lots of drug use at the school. I am a parent of a student and would like to contact them during the school day but school doesn’t allow the students to be normal middle schoolers and have their phones out. I also had my older child go there and they were treated horribly by the teachers. When emailed about work and asking for help no answer for weeks until the assignment is so late the teacher won’t accept it. My child is always coming home having to go to the bathroom because the teachers got snobby with them and told them how they couldn’t use the bathroom. They also complain how the water is always getting shut off and they can’t get a drink of water because they have a leak. Overall this school is a unsafe environment for my child

The teachers are lovely and help you to actually understand the material. They're supportive and kind, giving every student an equal opportunity. The community is amazing, and it inclusive to everybody.

My son just graduated from MWCS and we are so glad we chose this school for him. From day one it was an open and inviting atmosphere, where we were able to meet his teachers as well as discuss some of his needs with the principal who is amazing and so supportive. My son felt challenged by math he was able to overcome his algebra difficulties with the support from the wonderful teachers. He also was able to play basketball this year and learned so much from his teammates and coaches. This is a school for those who want their children to learn both academic and life lessons guided by caring people in a small atmosphere. Thank you for everything MWCS.

I am currently a parent of an 8th grader. My son also completed the 7th grade at MWCS. The 7th grade was challenging as it would be at any middle school with students transitioning from elementary school. It is a project-based school. The teachers sent CONSTANT reminders to parents and students helping the students reach appropriate goals in time increments to help students with time management for each and every project. The staff has been incredible. The principle is on campus and "present" constantly and supportive of each student's uniqueness. My son is a well-rounded boy with broad interestes. This school has allowed him to flourish anf grow and become more independent. The staff know each and every student personally. The homework has not been excessive. If there was a night where something "came up" and my son could not finish homework, a simple note to the teacher "bought " him another day as it was deemed appropriate. I will be sending my daughter here as well.
