I used to go to this school its amazing. I graduated from there 2 years ago my daughter is in 1st grade and she loves it but these 4th graders are bullying her and i feel bad they bully her about her having a young mom. We talked to counselor and office they didn’t help now they glare at her bad and make faces.

The teachers are great my kids went there for 4th and 5th. Couple of the the 5th grade teachers are really extraordinary talented. I loved the parent communication by the teachers. There are 4 counselors there. My daughter and son got a lot of emotional support.

This is not a choice school in my opinion. The curriculum was average and some of the teachers were not welcoming. Counseling at this school was mostly a joke and was only good at pushing problems under the rug. If you were getting bullied, there was rarely a punishment for the bully showing that punishments were rarely enforced. Bullying and discrimination are also big problems here so if you decide to choose this school for your child, be aware of these issues. Overall, I would say steer clear of this school, there are much better schools out there.

I love everything about Santiago Elementary! They really work as a team in making a great difference in the little ones lives! Starting with the Counselor, she just makes everything so much more fun and really goes above and beyond to help them especially when we really needed her (virtual learning)!

I would give this a 10 Star! The level of care and concern for each child is amazing! They are always finding ways to improve and the culture at te school is kind, compassionate and every child matters and deserves a great education! It is a school filled with kids who has English as a second language which is why they might not have high test scores, but if you can forget about the scores and see all the amazing things this school does for children, you will see why we greatly miss this school! It in my opinion is one of the greatest school in the United States with the best students and staff ever! If you have the chance send your child to Santiago!!!

My son is still attending this school but won't be much longer. His kindergarten experience was not the greatest but compared to his first month in first grade I guess we couldn't complain. His teacher chose the wrong profession in my opinion. She has very little patience and she see's bullying as a punishment for bad behavior. She told me my son's crying was the reason the kids in her class taunt my son and call him names. Bullying is unacceptable and when I told her what I thought about her logic, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my child in her hands. I automatically felt tention and have had to ask my son everyday if he feels like she is treating him fairly. Last year I asked my friend to bring my son lunch. She is a pretty blonde. The office staff let her right in. She told me they didn't even ask for a photo ID. I have brought my son lunch and I on the other hand was not allowed to go inside. EVEN AS A PARENT! I don't believe this is a good / safe school and I would not recommend bringing your child there.

Two of my children attended Santiago Elementary School and it was great in all regards. There is an excellent Gate program at the school with a talented and caring set of teachers.

Santiago Elementary has only a handful of excellent teachers. The support staff, I.e., principal, office staff are perhaps overwhelmed but in my opinion, do a very poor job. It would be my recommendation that if you can avoid sending your child here you definitely should.

Super super friendly staff - right from the top: Mrs Prieto all the way down to the Supervisors (directing traffic) all the way to the classroom teachers.

Santiago is a wonderful school with both great teachers and staff. This year was the school's first year with a full K - 8th program. While it strange to see the "big" kids on campus, the school does a great job of keeping them separate from the "little" kids. Plus I like the fact that m 3rd grader will be able to stay at Santiago until 8th grade. I very much recommend this school to all parents!
