Absolutely phenomenal staff that truly cares about their students. They’re available to help and always communicate with the parents. The school has an amazing small town feel where teachers, aids, and even the principal knows everyone’s name! I honestly couldn’t ask for a better school for my children

A school where students and their families are valued. The small size guarantees that teachers really get to know students and are invested in their education. Federal Impact Aid due to the presence of federal land in the community provides funding for technology and state of the art facilities. Strong community involvement. Absolutely bizarre that SWS is rated a 5. It was an 8 a few months ago. Probably due to an over reliance on test scores which is a shame. There are so few students in each grade level that the performance of a few students can really skew test results. Not rated is the culture, climate, caring, and strength of the instructional staff and curriculum.
