I was yelled at for wearing headphones and threatened with getting suspended for literally listening to an educational podcast. There is a SEVERE mold infestation. There is mold in the hallways, classrooms, and lunch room, yet they choose to spend their money on painting walls and buying new lights. They also force students to walk down the hallway that is filled to the brim with mold. They do not provide proper punishments for kids who behave, and physical fights happen often, sometimes every other day. If I were a parent I would try my absolute hardest not to send my kid to this school, it's that bad.

This school is totally underperforming. It is imperative that the educators and leadership bring this school up to par academically.

While I love most of the teachers there, I will admit they do not do much to stop bullying. I have had problems with off all things a lunchroom aide bullying my children. And the school did NOTHING about it.

I have worked at Lehman Intermediate for the past 10 years (since the day the school opened), I have been the Student Council Adviser for the past 4 years, we are a local community school of the East Stroudsburg School District and a great community at that. The Teachers, staff and students add to the community spirit. I look forward to the next 10 years at Lehman Intermediate because we live our mission statement everyday.
