The rest of the teachers and principal tried but my kid teacher was the meanest and not supportive until the end.No diversity at all.

Grace is truly amazing. My 3 children have attended Grace over the last 13 years. The classic education is excellent. The cultural enrichment programs are wonderful. Kindergarten through 8th grade has a series of ski day lessons. 7th and 8th have a guided trip to Washington DC. The school band is impressive. The sports program is excellent (in previous years the boys and girls basketball teams have beat Waterford and were the WAC champions.). The school tuition is competitively priced. The school focuses on the whole child. My children are growing and learning, mind, spirit and body at Grace in a Christ centered school. The school also focuses on service and will have service projects by class or school wide. The school community is wonderful. It takes a village to raise a child and Grace has a joyful village of parents and grandparents. We couldn't have found a better school. If you are looking for a school that will help your child grow into a young adult that thinks of others and want to share kindness and joy, look no further. This is your school.

My son went to this school for 7th and 8th grade, and it prepared him very well for high school. When he got to high school math, he was way ahead of many of his peers. I would say the same about their civics program. The classes are small and there is a lot of individual instruction as well. Probably the best thing about this school is there is a very strong leadership and Christian values. The administration deals with problems, rather than just sweeping under the rug or paying lip service. Also, you can be assured that this is a conservative school which does not promote a woke agenda, but rather focuses on learning fundamentals of math, language, science, and religion too.

My children lasted only a short time at this school. Felt it was very unstructured and not as developed/advanced compared to what I saw at other options.Their approach on learning aspects seemed a bit dated and they are not up to date on current practices. Seemed to be a bit stuck in the past. Was definitely NOT a fit for our family.

5 stars: Grace prepared my kids to become responsible, accountable, Christian adults.

I severely dislike this school. Half of my child's class are either bullies or very disruptive. One child continually throws chairs. Another boy cries frequently every day. What do they do when this happens? Empty out the classroom so the disruptive child can be alone. I prepaid for the entire year else I would have pulled my child out earlier. I wanted to call every parent in my child's class and inform them of what is going on, but my wife forbade it. I asked my daughter how school was today and she said "fine." come to find out that one child threw a chair almost hitting another child, one boy was punched, one girl is so traumatized that she is scared that if her mother goes to the school she will get hit also, and finally another boy has crying fits every day which empties out the classroom. I asked her about these issues, and she just shrugged her shoulders. That is a normal day for her.

5 stars. I have been a parent at Grace since 2002 and Grace consistently provided a strong education for my children as well as Christian character formation. My middle school aged son has great teachers and many opportunities. My high school aged daughter was well prepared for high school and my college-aged daughter has a strong foundation to grow on for success in college.

We've multiple kids at Grace. We have found the teachers and staff to be wonderful people. They care deeply about our kids and do their best to teach them the values we hope to instill. We can not speak for the issues the parent below is mentioning as we have never seen or had our kids report any bullying. The most we've heard from our children are the rare occasions of another child being a bit snobby or "rude." Personally, we have never had an issue that the children didn't resolve between themselves by the next day or that we felt was anything more than the kids learning how to navigate relationships. Certainly there have no experiences that we've found to be of a bullying behavior between our own children and the other kids in the school. Overall this has been a wonderfully healthy environment for our kids; we have not felt any major shift or had any increased concerns in the last 5 yrs we have been at Grace. The teachers are loving and kind and aim to do their best in teaching those same things as well as giving our kids a good education. The families at the school, for the most part, appear to be healthy and happy. We have no hesitations sending my kids here again next year.

I am sure everyone has noticed that a lot of these 5 star reviews were submitted on the same day. It was a deliberate campaign to prop up the ratings. The reality is that the school has declined significantly in the past 2 years due to their inability to enforce the schools bullying policy. Enrollment has dropped as parents have pulled their kids looking for better options. Do your research before subjecting your children to this environment.

Grace Lutheran School is wonderful! I love the teachers, staff, academic challenges, and overall school feeling. If you are looking for a school where the classes are small, the individual attention huge and kindness and respect for all is important then Grace is the place for you! Truly a wonderful school!

We started all three of our children at Grace Lutheran School and then we moved to another county for three years. Upon return to the Salt Lake Valley, our children wanted nothing else but to return to Grace Lutheran School. They missed the small, friendly atmosphere where they could focus on learning instead of being distracted by overwhelming social dynamics. As parents we value the teacher to student ratio, the social studies fair, the health fair, the author and literacy festival, the after school sports program, the phenomenal band teacher, the faith values, and the amazing community (to name a few things!). Oh! And after school care! As a working parent what would I do with out it? It's totally wonderful. If I am not working, my children still want to go and spend time with their friends. Grace is a beautiful place to experience elementary and junior high school.

I highly recommend Grace Lutheran. My daughter was bullied at her previous school. Grace Lutheran has an anti-bullying policy. The school helps parents, teachers, and students resolve bullying issues. This school really cares how students treat each other. My daughter has been treated with tremendous respect and value. The principal takes an active role in the student's education and well being. The education at Grace Lutheran is excellent. I am so happy that I transferred my daughter to Grace Lutheran. She loves going to school, and has made many new friends. I really appreciate the values system the school is teaching her. I highly recommend Grace Lutheran for their excellence in education, strong moral values, and caring atmosphere.

Our family has been at Grace Lutheran Church & School for the past 5 years. We moved from Minnesota and this has been the greatest environment for both of my children. The teachers & the staff are incredible. If people knew what was happening in this school the walls would be bursting at the seams! COME JOIN US

Grace Luthern School is the best you could hope for in a values based education! My two children are both students at grace and excell far beyond their peers from public school. I value the love, compassion, dedication, and respect my children are given each day. Grace teachers truly give love and an education. Simply put a values based education that prepares my children for success in the future.

Grace has been a wonderful experience for my two boys. The teachers truly care about not only their academic development but also about developing their character. The Christian environment provides an ideal setting for learning in an atmosphere that teaches my kids to deal with the world around them in a positive, mature way. The school also focuses on a number of service projects that teach the kids to give back to those less fortunate--collecting hats, gloves and coats to donate; supporting gardening in Third World countries; growing vegetables for the Food Bank; sending letters to Veterans; Operation Christmas Child. It doesn't get much better than that! The teachers are very responsive when I have any questions or concerns. The support from parents is amazing. We have a very active parent group who cares deeply about all of the kids in the Grace family. The facilities are great...a full gym, a baseball field with free club lessons, soccer, basketball, volleyball. Grace truly is a great place to grow!

Our 2 kids have attended Grace from Pre-K up for the past 3 years. We're very pleased. The teachers are fantastic and really kind and caring. Small class sizes are a big plus - I think it has helped both our kids thrive. Great parent involvement. Academics are very good, with solid Christian instruction and values integrated well into the curriculum. Appreciate the music instruction in early grades; wish there were more foreign language instruction. Science instruction may be too heavily influenced by conservative Christian views (young earth, evolution etc) but in the early grades this hasn't been a big issue. As much as we love the academics, we equally appreciate the positive social climate. The kids are genuinely nice and we have not heard our kids pick up bad language or bad habits, nor have we heard of problems with bullying. Our kids love the after-school program (great for working parents) and actually beg to go there. We appreciate the added diversity of having a Korean student exchange program and Japanese teachers rotating through. Highly recommend at least for the younger grades.

Grace has been a fantstic place for my kids. They feel challenged in their school work. They love the smaller classroom sizes. The atheltics the school offers. As a parent I love the before school and after school programs, how the staff is responsive and nice to everyone and that you can talk to the staff about your questions and or suggestions.
