- Submitted by parent on April 26, 2018I cannot imagine sending my child anywhere else. The amount of self confidence my child has gained is immense. He is also performing at a high academic level and has a lot of autonomy over his school assignments.
- Submitted by parent on November 02, 2017My daughter started kindergarten at The Studio School this fall and it has been a wonderful experience. She loves going to school everyday and told us she doesn't like weekends because there is no school! We were looking for a school that promotes critical thinking and fosters love of learning, rather than memorizes answers from textbooks; one that allows children to explore different ways of learning rather than books of worksheets; one that provides rich learning experience while letting kids be kids - rolling in the dirt, climbing on the rope swing, watering the plants, writing on the sand, and just slowing down, wondering, and being outside! They are encouraged observe, ask questions, form hypothesis, research and debate, and through which derive meaningful learning experiences unique to each one of them. It's a tightly knit group with passionate teachers and parents. In a way it feels like a schoolhouse in an old-time village, and we are so glad we are part of it!
