    This Alternative School falls short on many levels. Although the only requirement for enrollment is that the student mustn’t have passed their Freshman year in High School. The School is a haven for student with PTSD, Psychosis and all other matter of issues that make it very difficult for any student to excel who isn't in one of those categories. There is a lack of School Culture that prepares the Students for success. Mediocrity is the acceptable level of success, if you can call it that. Few Students at Calero are able to reach their potential due to the majority of the Students being afflicted with issues stated above.
