Terrific school all around. I don’t know what’s with great schools’ algorithm, but this school should be rated significantly higher. Fantastic teachers that encourages students, fosters a sense of community and really works in conjunction with the parents to develop the children.

My son just started TK at Bagby, and I’m already so impressed! His teacher is incredible—there’s clear communication, and I really feel a strong sense of community from day one. It’s clear the staff is dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging environment for both kids and parents. I’m looking forward to a fantastic school year ahead!

My boys have been so happy here at Bagby. I truly believe that all of the staff are committed and believe in Bagby's kindness philosophy. Every teacher that my boys have had, has helped each boy tremendously. This is really a great school, and committed community. I was really surprised that the principal and staff know every student by name and greet them during morning drop off.

I couldn't be happier with my daughters' school. The teachers are not only incredibly knowledgeable but also genuinely enthusiastic about teaching. Their passion for education is evident in how excited my daughters are to go to school every day. It's such a relief as a parent to see them eager to learn and grow. The positive and nurturing environment created by the teachers has made a significant impact on my daughters' education. They feel supported and encouraged in their studies, and it's reflected in their progress and the love they have for learning. I am truly grateful for the positive influence they've had on my daughters' academic journey.

I don’t know what happened to this school. It used to seem like such a great neighborhood school. It has a culture of competitiveness, tattle tailing and bullying. It is very lackluster with uninvolved, unresponsive and unfriendly staff. Avoid Bagby if you are looking for a warm, nurturing and friendly environment. This is the antithesis of that.

Teachers are well trained and experienced. Parents are engaged in variety of school activities. The school is well organized and motivated to make better for children.

Hit or miss with teachers. Our child's teacher this year is completely checked out and it's little more than daycare. Test scores and the school rankings have steadily declined over the last several years. The STEAM school gets the majority of the resources and attention while the other schools in the district languish. Had I known this when looking at houses I would have chosen to buy in a different area. If you are looking to buy, choose a better school district. We're pulling our child out of Cambrian.

Wonderful school ! Both kids have had a positive experience here and were prepped for middle school both socially and academically. Teachers are wonderful and so positive and the Bagby families are amazing. Both make this school a wonderful place to raise a confident , socially aware, intelligent child

A 10! It has been a great school. We had debated private school for our kids - but heard such wonderful things - we are glad we chose Bagby!

Love it. It's one of this school where parents are very involved and volunteer, raise money for programs like music, computers, and art. Great, safe community. I personally love the diversity. A great mix of ethnicities.

Great so far. Our son has attended K and 1st grade here, and has really thrived in this environment. We have really liked his teachers, who have been very open and communicative with us - both send out regular updates via email and make themselves available via mobile. His 1st grade teacher even has a closed Instragram group in which she shares pictures and photos of interesting things they're doing in class, which has been a great way for us to know what our little guy has been up to :)Principle White has also been great, and has done a marvelous job of making herself available to parents and listening to feedback. The transition to bringing Steindorf online was handled well by both the district and our school, so kudos to both. Our school board member will also attend our "Home and School Club" meetings (like the PTA), so access is good all around.Academics are still a TBD since we are talking about 1st grade, after all. That said, I have liked what I've seen so far. Our son is already reading quite comfortably, and the math also fits my expectations. There is a great community of people that really care about the school and volunteer time to help out. The facilities are a bit dated, but do not feel dilapidated. The teachers almost all seem content and engaged. Given the overall funding situation in CA, the school is making the best of things with what they have, and I can only imagine better things if the situation ever turns around.

My son goes to school here. He loved his K and 1st grade teachers. He had problems with being bullied in 1st grade. It was addressed by his teacher. Never heard back from the principal. This year he is struggling with his teacher. Tried to communicate with his teacher and principal. Have not had communication from his teacher and get delayed communication from the principal after re sending emails. When it is finally addressed it is about interventions for my child, and little acknowledgement that he is no longer engaged with his teacher because of some of her actions towards him. During a conversation about my son the principal walked away. My son loved this school until this teacher. Now he wants to go to a new school
