West Rowan middle is the worst school I’ve been in. I don’t learn much from 2 specific classes because the teacher doesn’t fully focus on you. Drama is everywhere at this school and nobody does anything to fix it. Even the people who start drama don’t get into trouble and gets blamed on other people. I have seen hair in my cafeteria food and sometimes I got food that looks limit is rotten. This school is so bad you can’t go to the bathroom on your own you have to go with a class and when you are going people will jump the stall to look at you. Almost every time I walk into the bathroom it is vandalized with paper stuck into the wall and is flooded. Then innocent people receive the punishment just a few punks did. This school is terrible and lacks the education environment these students deserve.

I will try to comment again, last one removed, was not obscene, just factual. Son has bulling issues. Talked with coach, left phone calls. Gave son a safe word to use in sentence that would guarantee teachers attention. He felt threatened and used it. Teacher reprimanded him, had the bullies there, and did not look into the bully issue. Finally got in touch with principal mcoy both parents spoke to him and do not feel a talking to after son was physically accosted by a group of boys. Son should no fear going to school daily worrying what ben, Charles, geoffery, chris are going to do to him today. McCoy also was alerted son was not the only one affected by these bullies. YET, a "talking" to is in order....Also last week a citizen had to stop a bus so the bus driver could get the bus under control. son also gets his supplies, and stuff stolen from him. Also ipad was broken and not yet replaced, two weeks and waiting.....LOOKING INTO HOMESCHOOLING WHERE MY HOME IS SAFE.... If i take my son out of school for his safety until I can connect him up with homeschooling, I get in trouble, yet I do not feel my son is safe in school...what to do..what to do..

BULLYING is a problem and prevention is overlooked. Very serious problem. Tried with teachers, principal...it needs to become a serious proactive issue. If we can put a stop to it, the children can focus more on schoolwork and not what ben, Charles, geoffery, and chris are going to do to him today....

I transferred my kid to this school two years ago and it has had an amazing impact on her education. The teachers are kind and very helpful. She has excelled so much at this school and has made it in to the Honor Society, excelling in Model UN. My child feels safe at this school verses the other district she came from. Great school, Great Teachers and room for her to THRIVE!!!

Holy cow this is by far the worst School in the entire United States of America. My 14 year old step son say's they have a work out room and has never in his two year tenure used the workout equipment.The P.E. , they only make the kids do 10 push ups and jumping jacks. I mean come on!! They make the kids "BUY" The electronic learning devices. The home-work is not home-work. They Look at video's on how to learn HOW to even DO their home-work. I mean , come on!!! The dumbing down of the American Children in Salisbury, (West Rowan Middle School) , North Carolina is REAL folks. He got into trouble for tearing the corner of a blank piece of paper off. This School is HORRIBLE. Stay away. Far away. You have been warned.

Horrible staff, they refuse to connect with parents on anything, even when you beg them to. They do not return phone calls and totally ignore any attempt to reach them. Do not eve think about this school if you are at all involved with your child or the education. This is a great school for parents who are just looking for a place to unload their kids in the day time, and care nothing about the education.
