Phenomenal leadership team and extremely well run school. Common sense curriculum that keeps up with the times.

I came from a top rated school district in IL. Salem was amazing for my daughter who has an IEP the whole team is absolutely outstainding. They litterly made me feel like they loved my daughter. I recommend this school for everyone and kids with a Disability.

Wonderful staff and students. Very happy with the entire network of families.

We were open enrolled at Bristol and decided that due to their lack of leadership and communication we’d switch to Salem. Salem administration seems more interested in teachers meeting the needs of the students over agreeing with the administration.

Don't send your child to this school if they have any learning disabilities. If they don't fit into their cookie cutter mold than they don't want them there. They do nothing to help your child, and will find a way to get them kicked out or make it so bad that you take your child out. They want kids that make their school look good, and that can give them good testing scores. I took my children to Trevor-Wilmot grade school. Where they individually worked with my two children and their individual needs. IEP, special classes, counseling. Unfortunately I was not the only parent this happened to. Several children with issues transferred to Trevor for their excellent ability to work outside of the mold.

My son and I absolutely love Salem School! He had a difficult time in a smaller school so we transferred to Salem. Since he had a hard time making friends, the school counselor offered a friendship circle group where my son could learn social skills and meet new peers in his grade. My son has been able to get a good, quality education. The school staff is very supportive and helpful. The school lets parents know what there child is learning and his teacher sends weekly progress reports. Technology is incorporated into student's learning and the website is very informational and easy to navigate. There are also fun after-school activities as well as fundraiser events sponsored by the PTO. We feel a wonderful connection to this school and we couldn't be happier!

My kids went to elementary school here. They did very well in high school because of what they experienced at Salem.

Horrible place to send your child. Teachers are condescending and take criticism personally. Good luck if your child has an IEP. Minimalists. Your child deserves better.

I agree with the comment about staff being unfriendly with parents. In some dealings with them they have been very condescending and don't dare question them because they are the 'professionals'. And the school is way too big. We are going to be looking for an alternative instead of attending this school again next year.
