My children have been going to Hillcrest for the last few years and we have loved every minute of it. The school and staff have been incredibly helpful through everything.

After returning from covid, this school really went downhill. Kids with IEPs were basically left behind and they were not being followed. My son fell behind. Since then, I've pulled him from this school and homeschool. He's jumped 2 grade levels but was in an intervention class prior. Ridiculous. It's a shame that I pay so much in taxes and can't even get a decent education for my child at this school. We don't look back.

My experience at this school was horrible. Obnoxious classrooms and horrible expectations. My classroom was really noisy and made it hard to concentrate on my work. My younger sister got horrible support from this school from the social-emotional workers. The social-emotional workers did not try to help my younger sister. When I wanted emotional support and if my younger sister wanted emotional support, the staff would refuse to help us. Do not ever go to this school. Needs more discipline to the teachers and students.

We have really enjoyed having our kids at Hillcrest. They teachers are great at communicating, and including parents on a daily basis. We have been with the school going on 4 years and we love it.

This school is absolutely amazing and I can say unequivocally without a shadow of a doubt that my twins who were born at 23 weeks and started here at 3 in their pre k programs would not be anywhere near where they are now without Hillcrest's teachers and staff. It is incredible!

The teachers really care. They take special stock in your children and make you feel confident about where you are sending your them. My children love going to school every day.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Hillcrest Elementary School. The teachers and the entire staff are some of the best I've ever encountered. My son started Pre K special education when he was 3 years old. He is now 5 years old and in kindergarten. The help that he receives is phenomenal in every way. We know that without the highly skilled people at this school, he would not be at the level that he is at this point. All I can say is,"Thank you Hillcrest," job well done and please keep up the great work.

I have been disappointed with this school and the district. They don't seem to work towards preparing the children for the future. At Hillcrest, instead of having a teacher teach in the library or the computer lab, they have an aide. They are incredibly far behind other schools with incorporating technology. The principals do not seem to be very knowledgable on laws or on best practices. Just disappointing because most of the teachers are pretty decent. The administration is lacking. Antioch does a disservice to their students by having all the Kindergarten and First grade students go to one school and then split for Second. No one is invested in the school and it is hard for the kids to develop lasting friendships when kids are split up so many ways. Plus way too many classes of the same grade in the same building. Again, not best practices in education. The district in general is mediocre.

Hillcrest is an amazing school. The teachers do wonders for each kid that walks through the door and are able to cater to their individual skill levels. During Spring Break, my son asked me daily when he gets to go back to school!

My son and I are new to the Hillcrest experience as he's just started pre-school, but the experience so far has been absolutely amazing. The staff are informative and so helpful, the classrooms adn cirriculum set-up are definitely something to write home about, and the attention to detail is almost overwhelming. I cannot wait to see the progress of my son as he continues to attend this school, and I look forward to getting as involved as I can.

This school is the best! I teach in another district while my kids go to Hillcrest. I bring ideas from Hillcrest to my job. They have so many best practices going on and really want the best for every child. The teachers are great, the administration and office staff are friendly, the layout of the school works so well for the youngsters that go there. I just can't say enough good things about Hillcrest.
