I had the worst experience with hayesville elementary they are very unprofessional ,they don’t have patience with the students they wouldn’t let my child eat lunch because oh him misbehaving and they didn’t treat my kids with respect . I would not recommend this school also it’s in north east Salem and that side of town seems to be trashy just like that school I’ve had better experiences at different schools!

The trwat the child as if they are not apart of the job. The don't listen to the children with complaints of bulling. The do not communicate with parents at all if another child hits your child or cuts your childs hair. Had constant problem with the childrens belonging being stolen.

Our daughter attended Kindergarten this year. Her teacher was highly skilled, professional, hard working, and ethical. Homework was not overwhelming, parents were encouraged to participate in their students' learning. The challenge for us was not feeling connected to the neighborhood, but that was not a fault of the school. I was pleasantly surprised by how happy we were with the school given the ratings we viewed prior to her attendance. We will miss the teacher and staff when we leave the district.
