My experience at this school is fine but lots of bullying, fights and sketchy stuff here. There's people that vape, lots of fights, some of the teachers don't really care about what you do, I myself got into one because I got my feet pulled from under me. Also located in a lil bit of a sketchy neighborhood. Bad principal. At least there's A Dong Market and US market, very good places to go to to get snack after school

I went to Waldo Middle School this year It's fun But some students give drugs to kids and there were Fights in school They have a gun in their Backpacks I saw a gun in 1 of my Classmate BackPack It is a good but not fun school.

The dynamic at this school is absolutely and completely out of control. More daily violence than the nearby prison. I don’t know how much the current school policies help with things, but there’s only so much the staff themselves can do. This comes down to issues with a bunch of kids very clearly not being parented at all and then being thrown in a building together 5 days a week. It’s a very sad state of affairs. Between the physical violence, the verbal abuse students inflict on each other IN CLASS where teachers simply say “don’t do that” instead of taking any disciplinary actions, and the cyber bullying that follows kids home, this is an overall ineffective learning environment. There are quality teachers at this school, counselors that try their best, other staff members who seem to want the best for the students. But none of that is enough when you’re talking about a large portion of students who’s parents are checked out entirely and let their kids do literally anything they choose without repercussions. For the kids that aren’t wrapped up in the ridiculousness directly, it becomes stressful as a peripheral experience as they worry they will become a target eventually. This isn’t healthy. There are parents with students at this school that need a monumental wake up call.

I I would suggest you look for different schools may be in in District transfer with Salem-Keizer Public Schools the school is known for gangs drugs and other sites of violence.I was once a student there and having a victim of a very much gang activity very recruiting. Drug usefor instance you can go into the bathroom and there will be a Vapes in the toilets everywherelanguage why is it is a very prolific School you need to think about sending the children to

I would never allow my daughter to set foot in Waldo because I am worried about her safety.

My kid is being bullied and the staff is allowing it. I have gone to the school and the district. Nothing is happening. The kids at continuing to bully my child. The answer I get is that it's going to happen in highschool. Really? This is why children commit suicide. The bullies should be punished. I have never seen such a horrible school. This school should be shut down or better staff that would deal with the bullies.
