This USED to be a good school. I have had 3 children at this school and now they are in private school. We moved here so I could be a stay at home mom. Because of the lack of accountability at this school I had to go back to work to pay for private school. The dream of living in a small town with a small school and being able to get my kids off the bus in the afternoon is gone. Teachers that have had children in this school are sending their own kids to private school. This should tell you enough right there. Also, this school only goes up to 5th grade and the student to teacher ratio is not accurate. They have eliminated teachers/classes so they have larger class sizes.

Parents, teachers & students suffer from poor leadership. Feels like small town, "good old boys club". Students are told to shut up by the principal and parents are threatened if they speak up about anything. It's a shame because the area has a lot of great families. We have other options, but most families don't.

THIS SCHOOL IS AMAZING! This is our third year in this school and we love it. Our children are excited to go to school everyday and they love their teachers. The principal and guidance counselor are very approachable and go above and beyond to make your children feel comfortable going to them for any reason. Parent involvement is encouraged and I always feel welcome when visiting. I cannot imagine a better place for our children to attend school.

Most of the teachers are great. There are, as in most schools, a few bad apples that need to be retired. The principal leaves a lot to be desired. She does not want to hear concerns from parents and seems to put the issue back on the student. The teacher/support staff person is never wrong. It's always your child. The office staff leaves much to be desired. They make you feel as if you are bothering them if you call to leave a message for a teacher. The school secretary actually yelled down the hall to my child to direct her where to go instead of allowing me to help her to a new classroom or showing my child herself. Another that needs to be retired...

The teachers and support staff are wonderful. The current principal is crass and clearly shows favoritism amongst staff, parents and students. Additionally rules are changed on a daily basis without notification to families and there is no clear reason for any of the principal's behavior. It's a shame since the school staff and families are wonderful. The principal seems more like a person who would do better at an administrative position that didn't involve direct contact with children or at an unruly high school, certainly not with impressionable young children at a small elementary school.

I have to say I am very impressed with this school. We are new to the area. Compared to other schools my children have attended, this school is A+ in my book! The Principal is so nice and welcoming. You can tell she cares about each and every student by learning ALL of their names by the first week! WOW! She really has a well organized drop off and pick up line! It is nice to know that my kids are safe and cared for. The teachers have been great and communication between home and school is has been wonderful so far. Looking forward to a great year!

Office staff and Principal are a little rough. Could be a little friendlier. Teacher and staff are good with the kids. The school is good for students who are advanced. No much support for children with minor learning problems. Not many after school programs.
