Terrible my daughter is in kindergarten and she rode the bus to school when they got to the school a fourth grader called her names and pushed her on the ground she scraped both her knees the school knew about this it happened around 9 in the morning but the school did not call me until about 2:30 my kindergarten daughter is now scared to get on the bus we had to change her school this is unacceptable

My child spent Kindergarten, 1st grade, and a month of 2nd grade here before we transferred him out to The Country School, even though it meant making g financial changes to our lifestyle. First grade with Mr. Kraer was the only bright spot. My child was bullied, targeted in gym as he wasn't good at it, and was terrified of lunch because of the shenanigans that happened, even with teachers watching. He was also incredibly bored as teachers constantly had to stop class to deal with discipline issues. I volunteered extensively at the school and went on every field trip, so I saw and heard quite a lot to back up my claims.

Mr. Redman is a wonderful principal. He instills great values in the school system and the students really like him. He is such a warm and positive person...one of the best qualities of EES.

As a parent of a child with special needs this school lacks in the communication department. When they forget to dismiss a whole class at the end of the day it says something. The teachers are good but the lack of leadership from the the head man speaks volumes.. I am switching my child out of this school ASAP. They also lack in special needs!!!!!

Not a good student body, teachers unhelpful and are not creative or well suited to teach. Do not recommend this school for any growing minds.

As the parent of a third grader at EES, I have been consistently impressed by the quality and dedication of the faculty. My child started there in pre-K, and every teacher so far has both inspired and challenged her. The teachers do an impressive amount of "differentiation" in the classroom, catering to students at different levels. The classrooms are neat, inviting, and well-equipped with technology that the teachers use fruitfully. Don't let the relatively middling scores fool you, as these are a reflection of the many low income and at-risk youth that this school serves. Despite the district's pattern of churning administrators every few years, this remains a quality school, and it seems to be getting only better.

As a substitute teacher I have been in many schools. Easton Elementary is the least impressive when it comes to parent involvement. When parent involvement suffers the culture of the school suffers as well. As a parent I feel I must compete for any opportunity to be involved in my child's school experience. The school fails to offer the many opportunities I see in other schools. What they do offer is many opportunities to be involved in their fund-raisers. The school has new leadership so heres hoping...
