My kids have loved going to Bristol. My only request is that the curriculum include more STEM.

Excellent leadership and overall experience at Bristol.

I've had three daughters go through Bristol, one gifted, one above average and one who struggles some, and all three have found success. The teachers have been more than willing to work with me and have made sure to nurture and challenge each of my children. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the school.

We switched schools this year - from private to public. Sorry to say but I've been greatly disappointed in our experience. The school seems to have lower expectations of its students which is reflected in the teaching. If your child is not run of the mill average, then this is not the place for you. The school has a hard time providing challenging curriculum for students who have the ability to do more and learn at a faster pace. This is not to say that the school doesn't try. They are willing to work with parents but be ready to bring your own ideas and curriculum to the school that the teacher can use when your child finishes up the regular work. If you suspect your child may have problems learning, they discourage testing to confirm whether or not this is true until the 2nd or 3rd grade typically - when they really see how far behind the child may fall. Nevermind any early intervention unless it is obviously severe.

Our son is in 1st grade at Bristol and he absolutely loves it. The principal and teachers are all very caring and helpful. We are very happy that our kids are in WGSD.
