McBride has been an excellent school. We have been liking it a lot more than our previous school in another city. Our children have all had great teachers. They've helped them succeed. Even during the shutdown they made sure they were doing the best they could be. We have one child with an IEP for speech. He needed help as well for reading and was able to make great progress to catch up.

Hands down, one of the most fantastic elementary schools we have been too. The teachers and administration were superb. The kids are kept safe, at all times and they helped my child more than any other school had with special education services. They also have great learning and physical after school activities.

Great School Great Teachers & Staff YOUR THE BEST ! Teachers do more than teach our children during school. This is what my son said They keep us safe, wipe a tear, listen to us, laugh with us, say good job, watch us play, watch us eat, tell us to try a little harder tomorrow. **************************************************************** To Each and everyone at McBride Elementary School I want to thank you for all your hard work and dedication you put forth everyday. .

If my numbers are correct, 20 percent of 380 children are in segregated classrooms. (76). At least, some of those 20 percent who have special education placements could possibly be successful in general education if, class sizes were smaller, teachers had advanced training and skills, Administrators opinions and philosophy were different. Parent Knowledge and expertise held more weight, and proper use of accommodations, mods, and support were in place. Use of updated accommodations, modifications and support in the general education classroom are commonly, not used. Coordination between the special education and general education teachers doesn't happen, most likely due to time constraints and limited knowledge about the IDEA, ADA, ... Children are moved from neighborhood schools to this school were the special education teachers work. Now K -6.
