My son and daughter went to this school for 2-3 years. We moved this summer (2024) out of state and I am a bit stressed trying to find a school that’s just as great as this one. Yes, they have a long drop off/pick up line, but if you leave your house on time, you can make it work. Aside from that, my son did great. My daughter needed more attention in certain areas, and the school did just that. I’ve spoke with consolers when needed, Ive had one on one meetings with the teachers when needed, and if I called the school about something i’m stressed about, the principal has called me and left me a voicemail to leave me at peace. I will forever and always be grateful for the teachers my kids had. Honestly, these ratings don’t do the school justice with my experience. I am actually searching for ratings on the schools near me now and I was curious to see what it said about Michigan Ave. and that’s why I’m writing a paragraph now lol. Anyways, if you move in the area, this is a GREAT school, but be patient with the drop off line…. there is a huge line!

There’s a coach that curse’s kids, that should not be allowed. Some teachers won’t due anything about the bullying. Their drop off system is horrible is very disorganized, the lines are very long.

Needs staff improvement very dissapointed since last year my sons excuse have not been process and yet the same person is demanding about students papers but cant do her job on submitting students excuse!!!!

This is the second year my son is attending the school and I'm totally satisfied. This year he is with Mrs. Dusold and Mrs. Taylor and they have been dedicated to every single detail concerned to the kids progress. Best teachers ever .

I have one child attending the school now and after the 1st day I have heard no complaints about the school itself.

My daughter attended at Michigan Ave Elementary School last year . The worst school ever!!!! I never got any email from her teacher or from school even when she couldn't go to school due to her been sick. No home work or any kind of communication . We withdrew her from this horrible school.
