This year was a unique learning experience for the students and teachers.The online modules were effective and the teachers were engaged in the students daily learning and assignments including availability via email and zoom.Increased zoom meetings with the class could assist to emulate a more classroom like learning environment to support the kids social development, interest and inclusion. I applaud the teachers for their creative and inspiring grid videos and inspiring the students to share their own stories during this unprecedented time in history. Thank you to the faculty and administrators for all that you do.

We’ve met great people so far in our 4 years at Violet. Never had a bad teacher, all the staff is wonderful. The principal seems a bit in over her head

This school does well with those students who have been taught at home from their homework assignments. Therefore, the school works hard to develop a relationship with the parent organization. Students who are slow to develop academics are not sent to individual remediation, but given a recommendation to attend summer school. There are barriers to having a student with learning disabilities get that "MTSS" support. The teachers are patient, but with a high student to teacher ratio, there is not enough time to give individual attention, when needed, there are few classroom aides available and the time for pullout intervention is quite limited. Students who could benefit from early intensive intervention are not getting help. Then when the students become frustrated, they are not getting the help they need. I think that the principal and staff are limited in what they can offer to the students so they depend on parents to teach the students at home, or summer school to make up the difference.

Incompetent staff. Not safe environment for picking up and dropping off your small children! Changing schools next year!

I think this school is great. The teachers and staff truly care about the kids and are constantly trying to find ways to help them succeed. They put expectations high knowing that the kids will rise up and meet the challenges put forth. The PTC is well organized and has many activities the kids just love.

On teaching, the up keep, Several fair teachers and the principle this school should be highly ranked. The Office is great the principle and leaders want so much for this school but their are a few bad apples with prejudgments who are putting a ruin to the school goals. This is a PUBLIC school that no one is more worthy of. This PUBLIC school offers what many good parents want and deserve for their children and because we are good parents are kids are good as well and do not deserve to be treated in any other way because of the judgement and fictional ideas some have about non white/ mixed families. Somewhere in history we are all mixed and their are many Excellent teachers and PARENTS deserving that are good people and would be so much better for the leaders goals the others need to get with 2013 and get over themselves.

Great school! Caring and professional staff! You will always feel welcome at Violet! Staff and parents communication is wonderful! Secretaries know you by voice! Teachers are well trained and know their jobs! Great activities throghout the school year! Best school in the district!
