Please do not send your kids to this school. This school will not support your kids and it is a clique that only had each other's backs and will do anything possible to avoid taking accountability for failures. Infact they will blame the innocent child instead of doing the right thing.

Heed warning, this school is coming unglued in the last month and it is not recoverable. After several years at the school, over a decade actually, we are pulling our child out. This school USED to be incredible. The glowing reviews show what it once was. It COULD have been amazing. We HAD incredible teachers and 2 amazing principals who breathed fresh GODLY life and love into the school. In the last month, a take over of the board happened by some self-righteous parents. They immediately brought back toxic retired administration and spread lies to the parents and staff. Several staff have resigned & several families like me have pulled our kids out as a direct result of this. The majority of the seasoned staff LEFT over this in the last few weeks. That speaks volumes. The new principal has NO COLLEGE DEGREE, yet is in charge of running a college preperatory school. How was that a great idea? The new staff they've hired in the last month are either grossly unqualified, or are in the clique of those who took over. Nepatism at its finest. This used to be such a happy, joyful place. Not anymore. They are no longer delivering the quality program we were sold years ago when we brought our family here. My child is crammed onto a windowless room packed with tons of kids for almost 3 hours straight on Fridays for study hall, when they used to have actual classes like Math during that time. Most of their subjects are now on block schedules for one subject twice a week for several hours straight. They are now the opposite of everything they say they stand for on their website. No more. We're out.

I moved from South Florida to begin a new life and seek for the best education my children can get. I researched the whole St. John’s area and after praying God led me to the Acadmey. I called in advance and all the information was sent to me for review. They have you leave the kids for a day and see how they like it. Once they were accepted I filled out the application and God provided the financial means as well as the acceptance. Mrs Brooks and her staff were so knowledgeable as well as willing to find and give information I asked.

I wish I would have found this school sooner, but so happy my children are here now. The most loving, Christ centered school we have been at. Their “Classical education“ is far superior to the curriculum my children had at their last school. I highly recommend this school, take a tour and find out for yourself.

St. John's Academy was an answer to our prayers for where we would begin our school journey. We lived in an "A" rated school district, but we wanted more for our daughter. We wanted top notch education but a foundation built on Christian principles. The school is a family and welcomes parent participation.

St. Johns Academy has had many years of experience and tradition. It prides itself on providing the highest level of academics. As a parent of a small child that is attending SJA, I have to say I'm thrilled with all that I have seen.

Exceptional academics. Accredited. Going on 25 years for a reason! What my kids have learned and retained has far surpassed their peers in other nearby private and public schools. The students here are polite, stand when you enter the room, hold open doors without being prompted, look you in the eye, and expect the same of their peers. They learn age appropriate public speaking starting in Kindergarten and prentations starting in 2nd grade so it comes more naturally to them with year they are the school. The school is VERY family oriented. Kids here form close-knit bonds with one another and are extremely welcoming to new students. The faculty and staff are wonderful and genuinely about each family at the school. Extremely safe. Bullying is not tolerated here. Armed security guards. Mock Trial, great science and math programs, fantastic arts, music, PE, library, and extracurriculars. Loving, caring, Christ-centered. Hands down the BEST education from the best school! Our family has been here for over 5 years and I would not send our 2 kids anywhere else!

Terrible experience. The leadership at this school is awful. The teachers cater to the boys and for some reason not the girls. The level of arrogance is astounding. Not a loving school. They did not care about my child. Horrible and over-priced. Not christians. Gossip mongers from teachers and parents. Stay away!

This is a great school. The teachers and principle are dedicated to the children. My daughter has attended for a couple of years now and she loves it. I love how it has a little school house feel too. The fund raisers are just the same as other schools in my opinion. They are by no means exhausting. This is a traditional school and that goes as well for their plays and such. The principle is just lovely and very classy. The studies are very good. The children are watched like hawks too. Which I like!

I highly recommend this school, both for academics and atmosphere. Each of my children began pre-school here and attended as far as the grades allowed. Each have been exceptionally prepared for classes/schools taken after graduating. The school offers more of a family and protected atmosphere. The environment is small enough that each teacher spends quality time with the students and grows to truly care for these students as they watch them grow up. The faculty as a whole grasps what it means to classically train the students to be virtuous scholars. My children have prospered both spiritually and academically because of attending this school.
