I see fights all the time and my kids have been going there for 2 months and have taken roughly 120 tests and if you get below a 70% it will drop up your grade. Kids are so self centered and only care about them self and you have assigned sitting at lunch I do not recommend I have personal experience and and middle school is hard but this school makes it even harder to get through once I pulled my kids out and homeschooled they mentally got better and I could see a change in there behavior. I don’t recommend this school unless you have a special education kid

All complaints and concerns I have read are true , overhearing Students talking to each other about how much they hate ,which I find to be a strong word yet they chose this to describe their almost everyday experience worries me that its still going on , Management is one sided , but this just makes me understand I have to be more attentive to the whole situation. I understand its not easy to deal with pre teens , But this is what you sign up for . The degree alone does not qualify any management as great or good , Getting the kids exited about school the learning the experience ,Love for learning is the way to go is not a correctional facility ,Think outside the box if your approach is not working ,What do you have to loose (management this means you) Stop ruining the great Job the elementary schools have done . This is a great area of course you can't satisfy everyone but do satisfy the most stop pushing your own political views that's not the platform needed , encourage debates "friendly debates " while rewarding both sides for the effort this is part of what will make this community stronger as the days go . Teachers are my favorite , they spend more time with my children than I do, they showed me the love of learning , if it were up to me they would make as much as a Doctor . Teachers are one of the most important part of our community that being said I thank you all and plead you never forget your being entrusted with my most price possession and I see through their eyes . Let's have a better year and I will participate to assist in the elevation of my children as well as others if needed.

Pacetti Bay has a long established reputation for excellence. The Pacetti Bay school administration is well-focused on the academics, social well-being and all around educational formation of its charges.

This school does not care about your kids. My child has been bullied and suspended for defending himself. Great job with the bully rules! Maybe you guys should get out of your bubble and listen to the students...they all know what's happening.

The staff cares very little about students, every day I come home to hear my little brother telling a new story of how he got bullied or harassed, and today he had to get staples in his knees because they let every gym student out at the same time ( roughly 120 kids ) all running at full speed and screaming doing nothing to stop the situation. The front office staff doesn’t like to hear criticism about anything and will get you in trouble for criticizing a teacher or other aspect about the school, also with the way they handle their punishments is unfair because one rumor can get you wrongfully put in detention or suspended which isn’t helped by the fact that the students aren’t allowed to argue for themselves without being yelled shunned or put in even more trouble.I’m a previous student of this school and the lunches have never gotten better and many kids including my little brother and myself chose to simply not eat because it is genuinely bad. If you are caught trading food or giving it away to someone else who would eat it you’ll then be shunned and told you’re doing wrong or possible face trouble. Imagine you can’t give someone the food that was going to the trash so they end up wasting tremendous amounts of food complemented by the fact that the put the recycling bins as a suggestion without enforcing rules ( which is the schools biggest problem ) shows how much they care about waste.Overall I as well as many of my friends and now my own brother still have tremendous problems that have been acknowledged but left unresolved for years. There are no signs that the school is getting any better or will any make good change for the students who aren’t prioritized, focused on , or acknowledge as much as growing pubescent and prepubescent children should be.

We moved from Northern NJ to St. Augustine and our son started at Paccetti Bay Middle School. We left a highly rated school in NJ and feel that we went to a school that is much better at proving a quality well rounded education. Our son is THRIVING in his new environment. The school has teachers that really care about the students. The school has clubs and activities that far exceed what we experienced in NJ. Our son has excelled in to many advanced classes yet still feels he's challenged everyday. Socially he's happier! This school provides a positive and friendlier environment than what we've experienced in the North. Great job Paccetti Bay!! Keep up the great work! We couldn't be happier with you!!

Amazing. The teachers are the most amazing you can get anywhere. They really care about building connections with their students, and helping them learn. They aren't the type to ignore you if they see you in public. They are the ones that go say hi to you. And it doesn't feel awkward. I'm so lucky to have this school. And although there have been some bumps in the road, there is everywhere. I have grown so much in the past three years. Middle school is so hard. I am one of the few that can say middle school wasn't a total horror show. In fact, I loved it.

Nice teachers and good at educating the children and getting to know them, realizing strengths and supportive of extra help, even staying after school if they are misunderstanding something. Sooth transition and helpful educational supporters of those who learn differently for medical purposes. Tara Blade and Heather Anderson stand out for understanding different learners and supporting them. Providing challenges for those who are gifted and want more of a challenge. Great counselor who is willing to also understand learning and sensory differences and being supportive of children who are medically vulnerable in social environments. It appears that 9 out of 10 teachers are very tolerant of different learners and are encouraging. My son loves his school. This is his first year and he said pause and the fact that they have early dismissal on Wednesday helps. I'm very impressed with the smooth transition and the well trained or educated staff. I like them as well.

Terrible. I am one of three kids in my family to attend this school, and in those 3 years, I received no disciplinary action. However, I can honestly say that the schools staff bullies students and belittles them. The school is horrific and teaches students that they are just a number. They harass children for their excessive dress code. Including face paint during school spirit week, dyed hair, hats, sunglasses, etc. I have witnessed kids being called out amongst their peers through a megaphone for taking water bottles that they bought out of the lunch room. I have witnessed their horrific dean Norris chase students down the hallway for stepping over the taped line while trying to get to class on time. Not only is this school extremely overboard, it makes me sad as a previous student for how they treat kids.

I am very pleased with the quality of teachers, staff, and academic programs. My daughter loves this school and is excelling due to the supportive nature of the environment. I am especially impressed by the innovative teaching structure of the classes by using technology and flipped learning in certain classes. I also love the band class. She is playing her clarinet beautifully after only a few months. I definitely recommend this school for a well rounded, excellent learning experience.

The staff at Pacetti Bay, from the front desk to the football field, have been amazing. I have two students here, 6th and 7th, and they love Pacetti. Everyone is helpful and friendly while still teaching the kids responsibility. There is positive energy everywhere and am so happy my kids get to go to this amazing school.

My son just started 6th grade here and so far we're pretty happy with it. The teachers and staff seem organized and I think the structure of the place works well for my son - he seems to excel with a little accountability. He says "my math teacher is strict but not mean strict." Looking forward to a great rest of the year.

I just graduated from this school today and has been the best school ever. The teachers are really nice, I have 170+ friends here, and it does not feel overwhelming. I would recommend this school to anyone who is confused about which middle school to join.

We moved to St John's County for the schools and I feel this has been the worst 3 years by far. As with other reviews if your child is a cookie cutter you are probably happy, but if they need any additional support, good luck. They do not even adhere to 504 plans. They refer you to 3 online tools which non of the teachers use on a consistent basis. EMODO, class sites and another where grades are supposed to be posted. I find that the academic part is lacking while the policing is on overdrive. The school fosters a tattle tale environment, if you don't like someone make something up and tell, the person will get in trouble. My older son went to Switzerland Middle School with no issues. The school is only as good as the administration and this one is certainly lacking. The principle even turns down money that people would donate to have signs displayed at athletic games but she does not seem to support athletic programs either. This is sole descretion of the principle/school we found out.

I have attended Pacetti Bay since sixth grade and I am currently in eighth grade. Being in a predominantly republican area, I often feel like an outcast for my democratic beliefs. When a political issue comes up in class, I am either the only one or one of TWO people to oppose the republican view. The academics are superior, although the homework can be excessive at times. Being in honors and the IB program, I am loaded with homework which does not give me a lot of time to enjoy my middle school experience. Between getting picked on for violating the social norm and the somewhat domineering push for perfection, I cannot say I have enjoyed my middle school career at PBMS.

My child went to this school and it was probably the worst years of her life. The people are mean and some teachers are a little to strong about christianity and being a republican. There are also way too many projects at once and it is so overwhelming. My kid would have 2 social studies projects, 1 language arts project, and 1 social studies project. It was horrible. I also DO NOT recommend the IB Program unless your kid likes to be stressed out.
