My daughter is currently in the 3rd grade abs she’s being going to Metro Academy since Kindergarten. We really love the staff and the environment. I would like to see more activities and sports for the younger kids.

Teachers are very informative and patient with kids and parents. I LOVE the office staff, they are beyond nice and helpful whenever I need anything! School pays attention to grades and have been very helpful with getting my son to where he needs to be as a 7th grader. School lunch definitely needs some improvement and needs to actually have what the menu says or have enough for all students. My kid comes home hungry most days because of jail equivalent lunches.

My daughter recently performed in a school concert. I’m so happy to see post Covid, I’m able to see my daughter shine.. She loves to sing. Next year she will apply for the robotics club. Thank you Metro staff. I love your learning community. You truly are a blessing to this community.

Metro is an amazing gem in Romulus that provides exceptional education that sets up students for success. Not every school is perfect and definitely has challenges but the leadership team in place this year definitely communicates and always follows up on things along with providing resources to families.

To be honest the bad reviews are just parents who expect for there student to be the best one there and when there student isn't they get mad and to have no problems its very hard bc not all schools are perfect .If i'm going to be honest with you this is a GREAT! School my kids say that "they always have fun we have alot of gym time and we learn alot" I 100% recommend your child goes here

It’s ok that’s all I can say. It’s not a bad school ,but it’s just not a good fit for my family. My children will be attending a private school next semester.

I love this school! My kids have done very well here for the past few years that they have attended Metro. The previous review couldn't be more wrong. They principal and dean in K-2 are very helpful and solution minded. Too bad so many parents have to blame schools for their shortcomings as parents.

My son has been here since 1st and is now in 2nd and he has never had any problems until he came here, he definitely will not be attending next year. This school is horrible, I would absolutely not recommend sending your children here. They do not have control over the children, their discipline makes no sense and is very unfair. My son got bullied here and they did nothing about it but try to make it his fault. They are less concerned about my sons education and does not give him the proper help he needs. The principal and dean are not involved with the children and are very rude and cruel. The dean (k-2) is very judgmental and discriminates against students she doesn’t like and treats them unfairly. This school just has countless of flaws and problems, just do your research before thinking about sending your child here.

My son has attended Metro Charter Academy since he first started school in kindergarten and he is now in fourth grade. He absolutely loves it! The teachers and staff at Metro our top notch! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The teachers care immensely about the students and my son is learning way above his peers at other schools. Not only are the teachers concerned about the education, but also about morals, which I love. My son will continue at Metro until he graduates from 8th grade. I wish Metro went through high school as well, as I would be happy to keep him there for his entire scholastic career.

My child has been going here since Kindergarten and I Love it. The curriculum is awesome, staff is helpful and teachers are great as well. I would recommend this school to anybody again and again.

My child has been at this school since kindergarten, he is now in the third grade. I have seen a continuous improvement in his academics, character and moral focus. Every teacher we have had has been teaching at this school 10 years+ which shows a commitment to the children. They have also made every effort to make communication between the parents and staff as convenient as possible especially for those of us that work and can't be there EVERYDAY. You still feel apart of your child's growth and education.

The entire staff following the outstanding leadership of Mrs. Wildfong had decided to make the school day safe and open to alday learning. They are committed and it shows in every program they put on, when you talk to them, even when I complain.

I 100% love this school. My daughter had a rough start when we came to the school. The dean's are wonderful in trying to find a special solution that would work for her. They kept me updated with her progress. Now my baby loves to go to school! It would not have been like that if the school didn't care about her. Her teacher's have been wonderful. The lines of communication is open. I just love it!
