Over the last few years I've seen positive changes in bullying but before that my son was being bullied and he would tell the teachers and NOTHING would change. So in that aspect I'm assuming either my son got bigger or they've gotten more responsible.

I did not feel a part of my childs education at this school. The only day parents are welcome is Thursday. I question what goes on the rest of the week. We have sent our child to Berry Elementary for the past 3 years to avoid subjecting her to a prison type setting. They are my children. I want to be a part of and know their daily lives.

I have three children who attend this school. My oldest will be going to the six grade 2014-15. All of them have been going since pre-k. This school recently got a new principal, which has changed it school for the worst. The kids are expected to learn on their own. They tell you what your child should and needs to know, but not teaching them. My son (middle child) was in the 2nd grade making all A's. You might think that is good, well his reading level was early kindergarten. I had to enroll my son into Sylvan, so they could improve his reading, so he could past the crct. IT sad that Sylvan taught him more in one hour, then the school, he attend eights hours five times a day. The principal has a horrible attitude, and act like she does not even like kids. I do believe the teachers want to be more involved with the students, but its the principal. They do not work with kids who are ADD/ADHD or dyslexia (two of mines happens to be). They would rather put them in Special ed. If you have a student who needs special needs( 2 of mines), or a girted student (1 of mines). I would not recommend this school. I am currently looking to move, so my children will get a better education.

The office staff and Administration are very rude and unsupportive. They do not encourage community or parent involvement AT ALL. They really do not even want parents in or around the school, except on Thursdays, during lunch time. They have good teachers, but lacking in professional administration and parental support initiatives.
