I have had children and now grand children raised in this school and they are by far one of the best elementary schools in the district . As for the teachers and staff, they go above and beyond to help the students and the parents/guardians when needed. The special needs department, Ms. Allen especially is absolutely amazing with the kids and parents/guardians! The school is always nice and clean and the staff really cares. The staff is encouraging, respectful and always there to help. I am now a grandparent raising grandkids and have had nothing but great things to say about the school and its staff. I highly recommend this school to anyone.

We recently moved to the Rock Spring area, and our son attended Pre-K at RSE last year. I was so impressed by the teachers and administrators. They go out of their way to make sure every student has an incredible experience. Also, my son has Apraxia, a speech condition, and the team who built and delivered the IEP services was outstanding. I cannot say enough great things about RSE!

I'm a former student and about 10-15 years ago, Rock Spring was great. However, my younger brothers just left and the school has gone downhill greatly. The parents are un-involved, the teachers don't really seem to care much. When my youngest brother had illegible handwriting, instead of working with him on it, they gave him an iPad for his work. My other brother was bullied incessantly and the principal at the time (she has since left) denied that the school had bullies. Overall, the school is just not what it used to be.
