Although I do believe the lower school has a respectable reputation. I would recommend finding elsewhere to send your child to high school.

What an amazing school with loving teachers that care about our children!! My children went from closed off to thriving just with their first year! This is our second year and it has been heart warming to see them grow! Highly recommend!

It’s sad seeing the shape of the school. I am a former student of both the lower school and high school. When I first came St. Anne was in its prime. I loved it. But as there was a shift in leadership over the past few years the school has fallen apart. There’s no students at the high school anymore!! Their entire high school left because of the poor shape of the school. This in no way is a dig at any of the teachers. The teachers are hard working and have a genuine passion for their students, it is the leadership. If you’re looking for a good high school experience for your child, don’t send them here.

please listen when I say, do not send your child here, they do not allow children to grow the way that they should in encourage activity from all children, they will discriminate. While the lower school was bad, when i attended high school, it was even worse, they are not treated like highschoolers. They are not taught how they should be very few children attend the school, and it makes it feel lonely and miserable. There are barely any sports teams available and the ones that are are not good and they are not able to compete with any Public schools around them that actually do well in sports. The uniforms are extremely outgrown and they will discriminate against girls with curvier bodies and allow other children to get away with certain things they will force their religion on you even if it's not what you believe and tell you that you are wrong. I would never recommend Saint Anne Catholic school to a single person, your child will be miserable I promise you.

We are very happy with the Catholic & elementary education our daughter has here! She scored very high on the MAC testing, and is very close to a few of her classmates of like mindedness. I like the student:teacher ratio here too. It’s 1:15 for my daughter’s class whereas it’s much higher in a public school setting. All the teachers that my daughter has had, have been there for years. That says something. They could easily make 20% more money at a public school. I also really like the new principal, Ms. Peters, a seasoned St. Anne employee and mother. I have heard that the high school has some issues in leadership and enrollment, but I am hopeful that they can turn it around as they are trying.

St. Anne Catholic School is a hidden gem. Our priority as a family was environment. We wanted a small, nurturing school where our children were known by name. St. Anne offers a lot of opportunity for its students on a very reasonable tuition. Our children were over prepared, as compared to their peers, in both high school and college. Most importantly, we feel that attending Catholic school formed them to be good people with work ethic, motivation, and a strong sense of their faith. Our decision to send our kids there was always based on their success and happiness, which were both always constant. Highly recommended.

You will notice that there is a rash of bad reviews followed by good ones. They are written by the same people and they pressure and solicit from newer parents any time someone comes in here to tell the truth. Get serious about this school. Get trained people and a board of directions. The area needs the school. You are ready to have a roaring success.

It has come to my attention that a small group of individuals have decided to denigrate the administration of this school. These reviews are misleading at best. Example: Yes, the principal did leave this past year. She was promoted to Assistant Superintendent of Schools for the Diocese of Charleston. I find it hard to believe she would have received this promotion had the school been in such disarray. As for teachers who have left, it should be noted that with one exception, those listed left the profession--not just the school. This is, by the way, a national crisis--not just a local one. While teaching is one of the most rewarding professions one can have, it has become more and more difficult through the years. Academically, the graduates of St. Anne lower school (K-8) are far better prepared for high school than children from surrounding schools. And the high school graduates have been accepted (and graduated from) to some of the most prestigious colleges and universities including University of Notre Dame, UNC-Chapel Hill, Ohio State, the Honors Program at USC, Clemson, Furman and many more. Once again, it is hard to believe that St. Anne students could be so successful if they came from such a poorly run school.I have been involved with St. Anne School in several capacities for many years--and have a background in education myself. The teachers, administration and staff work tirelessly to ensure every student receives the best education possible and that the environment is healthy, positive and Christ driven. It is sad that a few individuals (and I believe are all in the same social circle based on timing and language of their posts) have chosen to take this route for what I believe are personal reasons. To those reading any (and all) reviews, do so with a critical eye.

St. Anne School has issues with Catholic Identity and lack of consistency. Every Week it is something different. That is why we pulled out two years ago but still have friends there who are finally catching on and leaving. Hope the new Bishop enjoys this mess.

The administration is actively trying to hide reviews by us parents but the truth is out there. Saint Anne high school must be avoided at all costs for your kid’s sake!

I’m a current student and all of these reviews are on point! as much as I like coming to school with all my friends here I even realize that I need to seek other options if I want to be successful. The administration has lost all respect and nobody wants to be here even the students and teachers agree on that this place is awful. I used to be so excited about being in the high school when I was younger and would visit but now I just dread the thought of going back to that hallway! What worries me the most is how will I be prepared for college if none of my new teachers have experience or are qualified? There are ZERO good teachers left and the only reason to stay here is if you want to get away with cheating or doing nothing and graduating anyways!

It saddens me that it comes to this but we will be withdrawing as well. In February 2021 I was asked by a current administrator to write a five star review. I did for her and today I write this for the families that remain or considering SAS: don’t do it. What they are doing at the high school is wrong and should be investigated. We cannot continue down this path. The Diocese and state board of education will be informed.

TAKE NOTICE ON WHO STAYS!! Since we chose to trust our children to St. Anne High School we have seen the principal LEAVE, 3 theology teachers LEAVE, 1 PHENOMENAL social studies teacher LEAVE, 2 math teachers LEAVE, 2 science teachers LEAVE, and 2 English teachers LEAVE, 1 art teacher LEAVE, 2 theater teachers LEAVE, plus 3 athletic directors LEAVE and then all the coaches that have gotton pushed out for trying to win. Then they have the audacity to charge us full tuition and tell us that its the “best group of teachers yet” when nobody has experience or credentials!! When will the High school realize that the PROBLEM hasn’t left yet? And now I’m hearing that the college counselor is leaving?!?! Everyone LEAVES for the same reason and we are to!!! For the record, we were always fully invested in our kids and donated time, money and patience to the administration and school with NOTHING expected in return. We weren’t on the administration’s “favorites list” but our kids didn’t need strings pulled to succeed. This place is a mess so do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs!!! Notice who stays and ask anyone who has left!!!

We are withdrawing because of inconsistencies in policies by the dean and assistant principal. The favoritism and politics here are terrible. All the qualified teachers left because of it and all that remains are their friends and family and power hungry “professionals” with titles. Nearer, my God, to thee!!

The qualified teachers have all left because the administration only hires friends and family (even their kids) and we suffer. There are literally 3 generations of one family employed and they just keep hiring friends. Our tuition dollars go to them! Clearly not to the school or academics. Just visit the high school and see that the special ed, honors and AP students are all in the same classes at the same time and the same grades are all given to them! A’s for everyone!! I’m shocked the Diocese hasn’t shut them down yet!! Buyer beware.
