Some of the teachers and staff are amazing and long time served. This is an affluent neighborhood school with structured and organized standards, good resources, nice building and playground, security and good support staff. Great PTA participation and parent communication. Just a few questionable teachers but overall an excellent elementary. Exceptional teachers include Houtz (K), Whitehead (5th), Richards (Librarian). Great chess club and family events.

Horrible. I removed my child from this negative environment.

Still in our first year here, but we see the right history of educational experiences here through the curriculum and the foundational patterns from years past.

Nice neighborhood school with a neighborhood feel but the quality of education is questionable for the middle of the pack students. Top students and bottom students get attention (though not pushed to learn even more), but because of the large class size students in the middle of the pack are not getting the basics to advance and there are challenges awaiting those who miss basic concepts and foundation work. Though it feels like a private school, it is not.

Administration and Teachers are second to none! Parental involvement really helps make this a top notch public school. The atmosphere is one of fostering education including holding the children accountable and the parents responsible for educational goals.
