When I went to this school, I experienced bullying and it was severely not dealt with. The teachers play favorites, especially to children who attend the church. I was often humiliated in front of the class for multiple years because I had undiagnosed ADHD with depression. The Christian values they say to uphold are egocentric. Their mindset is very old school, as are their outdated textbooks. They once hired a teacher who had no credentials and touched himself in front of students very casually while teaching. This was not dealt with because the principal did not want to hear about such unclean things. Many students I know lived or went onto live double lives, particularly the men…

Communication between teachers and parents is almost nonexistent unless initiated by the parent. Health, safety, and wellbeing of the children is at risk. A teacher sent a child outside the room during a test and literally forgot the child was outside alone. Our son is profoundly nearsighted and the doctor recommended he sit in the front of the room until his vision could be completely corrected (via 7 changes in glasses). Because our son was a A student, the request was denied, resulting in severe migraines due to eye strain (confirmed by the doctor). Children are punished if parent fails to sign homework ALL homework assignments as well as a homework assignment notebook. The teacher even sent home another child’s homework assignment notebook and another child’s report card. Teacher humiliated child in front of the class due to her misunderstanding and then told the parents and administration that she didn’t. Other children confirmed it. Children are not permitted to have water bottles or even Kleenex at their desk. Our child loved his classmates and wants to be a Pastor when he grows up. It is ashamed he was treated so poorly. Academics are equivalent to public school. However, text books are woefully outdated. Christian values appear to be lacking. We were told it was a privilege to go to this school. This is a $6,000 “privilege” we can certainly do without. Our son is in a different school and is so much happier. This school does not have any gifted program or challenging work for gifted children. We were told that our son was a typical third grader. We had him tested and he is twice exceptional. After this experience, we had to get him faith based counseling.

My daughters have been coming to PCS for 8 yrs and I'm extremely happy with the school overall. The teachers really care about them and will contact you if there is a problem. Communication has been excellent with teachers, principal and front office. Their sports program is excellent, and the kids are excited to join.

My son has been going to this school since K3. K3 & K4 were amazing for him. The teachers were great and worked with him alot. Up until he started Kindergarten. That's when our nightmare began. A new kindergarten teacher started and she was the one and only. Since day 1 it's been nothing but complaints about my son. Things that are pretty normal for a 5 year old boy. It always seemed like she was trying to label him as something and get him taken out of her class. Then some more serious things started happening and that was my limit.

Providence provided my children an excellent environment in which they could explore God's paths for their lives. They were able to participate in extracurricular activities (athletics, fine arts, practical arts) that not only gave them opportunities to compete but also grow individually. Teachers truly care about the students.

Great school! Our son went there from K1 - 12 grade, graduated and went on to receive his college degree this past May in Pastoral/Youth Ministries. Providence really cares for their students and their low student-teacher ratio is ideal for advanced learning in their environment. Would recommend this school to everyone!

This is our 5 year in the school and we love it. We started in preschool and now we are in elementary. We love the small group of students which allow the teacher to have a better attention of the students, they also have computer, library, PE, music and other programs. It’s bible based and I enjoy seeing my kids knowing the Bible and finding daily applications to the word of God. They have weekly chapel and also they keep the parents involved in all the activities

I had been at this school most of my life. I did not experience problems until I hit high school. The leadership in this school is not what it should be. Some of their teachers do not even seem like they know what they are doing, and that led to me being severely behind academically in some aspects. Once I hit high school I went through a tough time in my life; and even though they say they are a Christian school, they aren't. They did nothing to help me through it. They have a very old-school mindset which is not likely to change. For as much money as we put into this school, we expected maturity and professionalism. We did not get that. I am extremely disappointed with how me and my family were treated. All I can say is, I am so glad I left and I wish I left sooner.

Serious issues with unqualified teachers. Be careful before sending your children here. Check out their accreditation. Many of their teachers don't even have degrees.
