We've had a really great experience at St Francis. We are new this year and have received a warm welcome, and our kids are doing great and really enjoy attending, the teachers and admins have been nothing short of exceptional. One of my sons goes to speech therapy and they've been very accommodating with his therapies, and when he's struggled in subjects they've offered him tutoring to help. The small class sizes is one of the main reasons I chose this school besides the faith-based learning which aligns with my family's values. If anyone is on the fence about enrolling, I'd encourage them to give it a try. After we toured the school we immediately enrolled and I'm very pleased with our decision to do so.

Our experience in this school wasn't pleasant. Or safe for 1st grade kids Academies or not highly recommend. Along with bullying. Is waist of time and money.

I absolutely love this school. Both of my children have developed a true love for learning while strengthening their faith. Teachers are compassionate and highlight each students strengths; Thus, helping students grow into confident individuals. There is a new principal this year who has made every effort to address any concerns. The school is organized and parents are provided a calendar at the beginning of the year that includes holidays, school events, and other important dates. Parents and staff can easily communicate via class dojo and any concerns I have ever had have been quickly addressed. Both of my children’s teachers are incredibly innovative in their teaching approaches and curriculum choices. It is obvious that these teachers love what they do and are very passionate about seeing growth in their students. After school care, hot lunches, and extra curricular activities are an added bonus that we throughly enjoy. Overall, I am pleased with this school.

The school has declined in recent years. It unfortunately has had 3 different principles, in 4 or 5 years. There are select preferred parents who run the school, and when they complain the current principal jumps. It is not an inclusive environment and lacks the compassion and integrity Catholic education is known for. Sadly, as in all decaying institutions, there are some great teachers, but they don’t stay long. If the parents at the school worked collaboratively and did not fight with each other for their self desires, maybe the school would get much needed resources like better pay to retain teachers, grass, cleaning the dirty parking lot the kids play on and cars drive on, an actual designated playground, a security guard to stop the homeless from trespassing which happens often, hot lunches, art, music and Spanish classes- all of which this school is lacking.

This school lacks resources for struggling students, whether it be in a specific subject area or needing extra help with learning disabilities. Zero help with dealing with bullies, and teachers who put down my child. My child got her first A in class she struggles in and her teacher ripped up her test, failed her, and yelled at her for forgetting to write her name on the paper. As a teacher myself this school disgusts me and my child is happier now that we pulled her out

Excited to have a new principal who attended this school many years ago and has proven to be an inspirational leader within the diocese.

St. Francis de Sales has the family atmosphere that we were looking for. My family enjoys seeing other families at our Pancake breakfasts, family masses and events like our Christmas Program and Fall Festival. We are pleased to have our children taught in an environment that continues our teaching of religious values. Weekly mass for the students is something that we love. The principal is very involved with the students and leads them in music at their masses. We are very happy here!

One of the best decisions I have ever made was choosing St Francis De Sales for my 2 sons education. The family, community and educational environment is unmatched. Thank you teachers and staff for all that you do to assist us in preparing our children for the future.
