    Every staff I've met with seems to take pride in making the school safe and fun. They communicate about my kids progress and struggles all the time and not just at conferences.

    Greenwood has a wonderful community of students, families, and teachers. They have an excellent character education program. The staff is amazing - they love the students and work hard to help each one be successful.

    There's not a lot that's exceptional about this school... They test well, but so do the other non-montessori elementary schools in River Falls. The parents seem to enjoy the headpats they get when they say their children attend this school. The PTO has meetings where they dedicate a great deal of time to patting themselves on the back and on Wednesdays, 'they wear pink' (i.e. they're very clique-y). They especially love that they won an award that they had to apply for. I'm sure they're great and all, but it's less impressive when you have to apply to get the award in the first place.
