I have been so pleased with care and attention that my child has received in her two years at Rivercrest. The teachers are caring, deidicated and insightful. I have such great respect for the work they do. As the parent of a child with learning deficits, I have been overwhelmed by the support and caring that has been extended to my child. This is a school where all children are provided the opportunity to succeed.

I have two children attending River Crest. I could not be happier with the education and attention they receive. My youngest child has special needs and requires additional help and attention. River Crest has exceeded our expectations with him as well. I am so glad that their youngest learning years are here, laying a great foundation for their future!

This school may be good for some students, but it fails to address the needs of minority students. The few minority students at the school are not allowed the same advantages for additional support and resources to challenge them academically and allow them to advance as the white students. The culture of the school is one that expects and perpetuates underacheivement by minority students, or any student that is a square peg in a round hole. The school is also overcrowded and has larger class sizes than other schools in the district. This school is proof that a new and pretty building does not equal a high quality education for all students.

I can't think of one negative thing to say about River Crest. The teachers are dedicated, the principal has great vision, and the environmental focus is encouraged through teaching, not preaching.
