Hello! I went to North Cache for one year in 7th grade a few years back. There are good teachers (some aren't great, but that's in every school), good people and good clubs to join (although there aren't any sports.) My one problem was the atmosphere of the school. It might be a Utah thing, but I felt like everybody would try to be exactly the same. Many people had the same blonde highlights, clothes, mannerisms and perfect eyelashes. I understand that, as middle schoolers, everybody is trying to find their place and fit in, but I also felt like most people weren't willing to accept anybody who wasn't like them. As a multiracial, insecure 13 year old, I hated it. Looking back, I was a bit antisocial, but it wasn't as if I wasn't trying to make friends. In the end, I was able to find several amazing people who helped me through, but I still think the overall Utah culture is a bit cutthroat. My aunt once said, "I feel like everybody would sell their soul to look cute." and I wholeheartedly agree.I ended up moving to the East Coast after 7th grade, and felt much more at home in my new middle school, where, even though everybody was still very white, the atmosphere was better. All in all, yes, North Cache is a good school. Just, if you're from out of Utah, be prepared for a little bit of a culture-shock.

I think people cuss too much, (though not as much as non-Utah schools). If you are the new person, you have to be the one to make the first move, most people will not introduce themselves unless it is an assignment. The school is pretty crowded. There are usually 30 students in a classroom. Most of the teachers are fun and interactive (Mr.Hilton; Band, Mrs.Allen; Language Arts, Haynie; P.E.) but some are very worksheet based. I have defiantly learned a lot at this school. I think it is a good school but could use a couple changes.
