Sky view isn’t a great school! Principals will target your kids if they get in trouble for the smallest thing. School bus driver named tonya who drives bus 93 is a terrible driver. Targets kids and treats kids terrible! Sky view will do nothing to help. District will do nothing to help either. Cache school district isn’t the best either!!

This school mistreats and is not fair to students with learning disabilities, mental health problems, and students who are different. I was a student there a little while ago and I happen to be one of those students with a learning disability. My education was neglected and I was told that they did not have time to help me, that I was hopeless and not worth their time. I was also bullied by students and some staff members, and they did nothing to help me, I even whitnessed them bullying other students. They pick and choose favorites and they only care about their sports students, their Mormon students, and their students that have an easy time getting straight A’s. They do not care about the misfits and don’t care if we pass or fail. When it was too late for them to step up and help me, they told my parents and I that they no longer wanted me as a student at their school because there was “nothing” they could do to help me catch up with the rest of the students my age. So they released me as a student without mine or my parents permission because they couldn’t be bothered to help me, a student that they saw as a hopeless worthless nothing. I was left to fix my education on my own and I got screwed over by them. Sky view high school has done this to tons of students like me in the past and they don’t care. I would never in any lifetime recommend this school to anyone. You would think that people who love to teach would love it enough to help students that struggle and have it harder than students without disabilities. They thought I was a waste of their time but truth is they were a waste of my education because now sadly it has screwed over my future for moving onto college and career. I was just a creative artistic student who was kind and never wanted any trouble, and just wanted so badly to graduate and be smart. I don’t understand why they treated me and other students like me the way they did but it’s unaccebtable and unproffessional.

It would be a great school for any one to go to. It is a little run down, but it turns into home as you become friends not only with your peers, but the teachers and staff.

Sky View is a great school. There is a diverse selection of courses to take. The teachers and counselors can be very accommodating. Sport events are very well attended and school spirit is high. The only problem I have is with the academics. Though there are some rigorous classes like the AP or USU ones, the majority of the classes are very laid back and don't require mu,ch work. I used to go to school in Gilbert, AZ where there were many honors classes to take, so I am used to school being much more rigorous. Here, however, if I want more challenging classes, the only option I have is college-level classes. I think these are great for preparing for college, but filling a schedule with them results in a super busy schedule with tons of homework. So I basically have to choose between super easy boring classes and very difficult rigorous classes. I could balance between the two, but then I will be spending all my time on the hard ones and blow off the others completely. I wish that the normal classes were more rigorous or that the school offered something like honors classes. I kind-of ranted on about class-rigor, but even with the issues there, Sky View is a great school overall.

Great learning, values, teachers, athletics... Our kids love it here and we've been very pleased with their progress.
