Great family experience, hands on Principal, involved, smart, human, Christlike. Teachers are with nuturing hearts, patient, compassionate, and kind. They are committed to the success of each and every kid. Works hard to meet every kid at their level and simply love what they do. The whole school is just a happy diverse and supportive environment for every learning child. Knowledge and faith is Alive at St Joseph Catholic School Richardson.

St. Joseph is a wonderful school. We are just finishing our first year there and everything has been top notch. We love the small class size and know it allows the teacher more time to focus on each child's individual needs. The curriculum is wonderful for all subjects, we have been very impressed with the level of learning in all areas even to the specials subjects. Our kindergarten son has been learning some things not covered until 2nd in public schools. It is exciting to see his knowledge and level of engagement in all things he has learned this year. The religions classes especially are very well thought out and really give the kids a strong foundation. The school community is great. We love that it is a very diverse community. And Everyone from office staff to aides knows each family in the school. They are always willing to help and answer questions any way they can. The administration is great at following up with parents regarding any inquiry you might have and willing to personally show you around the school at any time. The teachers are amazing. They care about every single child and what to see the best from all of them. The teachers make sure to spend time beyond academics to develop leadership and independence. We are looking forward to another great year at St. Joseph and are excited to see even more growth in learning, leadership, and community involvement.

Our two sons have been attending St Joseph since kindergarten and we all love this school. The teachers are great and love and care for our kids while also challenging them with curriculum to better prepare them for high school and beyond. The principal and administration are great and always helpful should you need anything. We are glad our kids are at St Joseph and highly recommend the school.

We moved our daughter from St Patrick to St Joseph last year and she's completing her first year at St. Joseph. We found the curriculum is superior and the leadership is very strong. Teachers are caring, loving, and well qualified. We are very satisfied with the school and my daughter loves it.

Excellent school! The St. Joseph community has been a blessing to our family. Our children are receiving exceptional academics in a solid, faith-based environment. They're challenged and enjoy going to school every day. One of the things that makes St. Joseph unique is the partnership that develops between teachers and parents to support the children's best education. Best decision we've made for our children and our family!

SJCS has been a blessing for my family. We love belonging to this community of dedicated educators and administrators. We feel that our child is surrounded by people who only want the best for him and are always looking for ways to make us feel included in any decision making.

We have a son that has been going to St Joseph in Richardson since Kindergarten. We chose the school based off the facilities, staff, faith and the community itself. Community was a big deal for us because I grew up going to Catholic school and that was one of the things I loved about it. We have not been disappointed. There are so many opportunities to get involved in the St Joseph community and get to know not only the staff, but other families as well. The Pastor and Principal run a wonderful school and it’s evident that they put a big focus education and faith. St Joseph has done a great job responding to COVID and allow the parents to make a choice between in-person and remote learning. The classrooms are huge and they have done a great job arranging the school to allow for social distancing.I can not say enough good things about the school.

I have had an amazing experience at SJCS so far. My child was welcomed as a member of the family immediately and the administration is very transparent about how things are going.

Not worth the money. P.E. and Art program are great. They are not innovative in the approach to teaching and seem to lack knowledge of any current research. My fourth grader did one Science project at the beginning of the school year and we were told others would follow and they have not performed another. They seem to require rigor without exceptional teaching to back it up. They do not ignite creativity or spark critical thinking in their assignments.

My son attended St. Joseph K-8. This is a welcoming Christian school where parents and children can make life long friends and grow in their faith. My son still talks about how much he loved his kindergarten teacher. The middle school religion teacher has a great way of connecting with the kids and fosters a love of catholic faith and volunteerism. The academics are rigorous, but teachers are there for extra help. The principal comes across as "standoff-ish", but is interested in the success of the kids and good for the school. Fr. Tim is involved with the school and makes a positive impact on the kids. I feel my son is well prepared for high school. The sports are comparable to what you would find on any "rec" team. If you want a professional coach for your child, look to select or club sports and pay for what you get. We will miss St. Joseph so much. We initially thought of sending our son to St. Mark in Plano. I so glad we chose St. Joseph instead! My son always had a smile on his face when I picked him up from St. Joseph. He loved this school!

Our daughter started in the Early Learning program in the 18 month old class and is now in the older school. We have been very happy with everything at this school. We have had wonderful caring teachers, an excellent Principal and support staff. My daughter loves going to school each day and beams with pride in her uniform. SJCS has made learning fun and exciting. We looked at several schools and are glad we chose St Joseph.

All my children have attended this school, and I cannot sing its praises loudly enough. My children are growing, excelling academically, spiritually, and socially. The academic program is outstanding, both for students who thrive on challenge and always want to jump ahead, as well as those who learn at a steady pace. My children are testing above the national and state averages and their teachers are great about supporting their desire to reach beyond the required course work. There is something for everyone when it comes to athletics, extracurricular activities and competitions. The beauty of St. Joseph Catholic School is that the Christian values that we teach at home are found here too! This school is an extension of our family I couldn t ask for a better learning environment. It is in a beautiful facility full of dedicated and compassionate teachers, friendly staff and an amazing principal who knows and cares about every child in the school. Visit this school and see for yourself why it is the best Catholic school in Dallas. There isn t enough room on this page to brag about how great St. Joseph is!!!!
