I love and adore this school. My children have been challenged academically since kindergarten. They score high on standardized tests and outperform the majority of the children in their grade level in the district according to their MAP and STAAR testing. Teachers and principals have come and gone over the years, but I can truly say that I have had excellent experiences with the majority of their teachers and principals. If you research deeper into this school, you will see that this little gem scores better than many of the elementary schools in RISD. This is a very diverse school, which I believe is what makes it so unique and valuable. Your children will gain a solid education and build relationships with students of cultures all over the world. It is truly beautiful. Another thing, you can't beat the front office staff. They are a group of the most caring, compassionate, and helpful people. It's a guarantee you will receive a kind and warm voice when you call the school. You will also feel the positive energy when you visit the school. Don't let the negative comments deter you. Not everyone values diversity.

The principal and leadership staff are the worst you can get. Beware beware beware. Idk how this school has a 7. Do not send your child here if you have a choice. They are utterly useless with enrollment. I had to speak with risd enrollment director in order to get my daughter in after giving all paperwork. For 3 weeks. All I wanted was daughter to start school and not keep missing days. They could care less about these children's education. It's a job for them. They do not care at all which is sad because it's a very ethnic school that has potential if the top tier people are replaced with educators that care more for the children than the little paychecks. What a joke of a school.

My son will have been at this school 3 years this Fall and we love it! The teachers are fantastic, and he is really thriving. I couldn't imagine him anywhere else, this school is as good as, if not better than most Richardson schools. We are very happy here.
