Deeply saddened by how much this school has gone down. Education no longer seems to be the priority here. They can’t seem to get good leadership that’s cares about quality education in there. I was excited for my child to attend at first but it quickly became a nightmare. Stay far away if you can. Move into the district for Timbergrove or Owings Mills Elementary before you move to a zone in Reisterstown that will require them to go to such a circus.

We have had such a wonderful experience at Cedarmere. 2 happy kids get off the bus every day. They both love school, are challenged academically, and are supported by teachers who really care. It feels like a family when you walk through the doors.

I am very happy and satisfied with how my child is learning and growing at Cedarmere. The staff is very nice and proficient at what they do. If I have an issue it is handled immediately. My sons grades have been excellent since going here and he is learning above his grade level. He will be well prepared for middle school.

Cedarmere has become the highest performing school in the area surpassing even some of the Franklin's test scores. The school is very diverse with kids from all socioeconomic backgrounds, which gives the school even more credit for student achievement. Mr. Coco is a very nice principal, he is very dedicated and committed, and I like how he greets parents in the school parking lot in the morning. The atmosphere of the school is very cozy and friendly. 100 Book Challenge really helps with reading. A lot of parents are involved and participate in Scholastic Book Fair, recycling and weeknight activities. I also love the field trips kids take (Symphony Orchestra, Maryland Science Center, local farm, etc.). I would suggest parents save their money for middle and high school, and choose Cedarmere Elementary.

Kindergarten-so far so good. Seems to be gaining ground on supposedly the best elem. school in Reisterstown{Franklin} as far as test scores go--if you are into that sort of thing!

This school has exceeded our expectations. Our son is doing incredible here and can't wait for our daughter to start kindergarten. The staff is amazing as well as the families that attend this hidden gem in Reisterstown.
