We have been at Willows for 4 years, and my son is going to 8th grade. Overall, it is a great school where teachers are doing their best to share their knowledge with students. The classes are very engaging. Students who would like to pursue extra math skills to take tests like AMC get additional assistance from instructors. There are many clubs such as science, math, sports, etc. Theatre program led by Ms. Becky Gil is amazing where 4 students last year made it to Indiana Thespians State competition. This year the school is adding many athletic clubs so that students can play sports with students from other schools.

Our experience with this school was very disappointing.Teachers leave mid year and very disruptive to the kids and new Inexperienced teachers are abundant.School administrators and staff disregard any concerns parents may have or bring up. Staff are taught to not communicate or assist parents or students but rather target any parent that might comment or ask a question or bring up any issues to the school staff. For the mortgage you pay as tuition, this only benefits the founder. The standard of education taught is extremely low and your student will most likely fall behind much more than at a public school level of education.Teachers do not have a syllabus and nothing shared with the parents about the student’s progress work being taught throughout the year; so the only feedback is in the report cards which give little if any information and of no assistance to help parents know how the student is doing and if they are proficient in their subjects or how to improve their skills. Our child only read 2 books in Language No school supplies are provided by the school. Parents are responsible and must supply all textbooks some of which can cost up to a $100 dollars each. All pencils, pens, paper, post it notes, erasers, computer paper to tissue in case your child needs to wipe their nose has to be supplied by the parents. The school culture is not inclusive and in fact staff are very elusive and there is a real absence of effective communication.I removed my child from this school and feel she was not receiving a proper education and concerned for her success and ability to be prepared due to a lack of standard of education which can hinder her future disciplines.
